4th of July Spectacular @ Aurora Municipal Center Great Lawn

The city of Aurora, Colorado will celebrate the 4th of July Spectacular and Independence Day with a fireworks show that will lit up the night sky. The Aurora Municipal Center Great Lawn will feature dance worthy live music, delicious food and a fireworks display revered as one of the best in Colorado. The event opens to the public at 6:00PM with live entertainment. Fireworks start at 9:30PM.

Ride the Light Rail Train!
Plan your ride – the RTD R Line is open! End your trip at the Aurora Metro Station as its just walking distance from our event site.

No dogs allowed, No glass bottles, No unlawful devices, No illegal substances, No open carry of firearms, No fireworks.

Velorama Festival @ Coors Field Parking Lot A
Aug 17 – Aug 18 all-day

The Coors Field Parking lot A in RiNo Art District will become a three-day street party celebrating biking culture in Colorado. Daily family-friendly festivities include participant rides, kids zones, a bike and lifestyle expo with 50+ exhibitors, local food, fun games, after parties and more. Kids 10+ under will be free! Sunday will be a family focused day. Stay tuned to our social channels for more information about headlining bands, events and more. @veloramafest

Punkin Chunkin Colorado @ Arapahoe Park Race Track

Celebrating its 19th year, Punkin Chunkin is one of Colorado’s favorite fall festivals. Grab your family & friends to see how far pumpkins can fly using a variety of air cannons, catapults and other wild contraptions. Eighteen teams of Chunkers came from across Colorado, Texas & Oklahoma to participate in the competition in an effort to break world records and gain bragging rights. The annual event is scheduled for Saturday/Sunday, Oct. 6 & 7 at the Arapahoe Park racetrack. In addition to cheering for your favorite Punkin Chunkin team, pick your own prized pumpkin from the expansive patch, enjoy pony rides, car show, face painting, crafts and other family activities as well as a wide variety of food and beverage vendors.

The Holiday Tree Lighting is a night full of fun! The evening highlights the sights, sounds and tastes of the holiday season! Our annual event features:

• Snack on seasonal treats
• Live musical and dance performances
• A special visit from Santa Claus
• View the spectacular outdoor lights display
• Appearances by North Pole Elves and Olaf from Frozen
The magical display of lights turns on as we welcome our special visitor from the North Pole at 5:45 p.m.

Don’t want to drive? Our RTD R-Line is now open! Get dropped off at the Aurora Metro Station as its just walking distance from our event site.
