Admission to the Molly Brown House Museum is by guided tour only. Our wonderful Docents will lead you through the Museum telling you the story  of Denver’s Titanic heroine and activist, Margaret Brown. All guided tours of the Museum last approximately 45 minutes. Museum tour tickets are available in the Carriage House Visitor’s Center.

The exciting exhibits and interactions with energy experts help spark students’ interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Maker Faire Denver is an all-ages festival that inspires, educates and entertains, propelling ideas into reality and curiosities into amazing creations. Makers come from across the US, and even the UK, to share their cutting-edge inventions and artistry, as well as teach their craft to attendees, with hands-on activities in arts, technology, and fabrication of all kinds.
“At Maker Faire Denver, visitors have the chance to glimpse into the future, get hands-on in the creative process and leave with a renewed excitement for what’s possible,” explains Elise VanDyne, Executive Director of the Faire’s non-profit producer, Colorado Maker Hub. Over 120 exciting exhibitors at Maker Faire Denver: The 3rd largest Combat Bot competition in the US, a Fashion Hackers Showcase, Build your Own Drone Workshop, Nerdy Derby, inventors, start-ups and makers of all kinds with hands-on activities and sights to amaze and inspire you around every corner. Build Brighton Colorado Out of LEGO @ Brighton Recreation Center

Join us at Brighton Rec Center on Sunday October 22nd to participate in a massive City of Brighton Build using LEGO! Students can construct Main St. Brighton, mountains, their own home, school, playgrounds, parks etc all out of LEGO. Students will explore hands on architecture through learning about overlapping and how buildings are so strong! All LEGO will be provided by Play-Well. For safety all kids need to be bring an adult 🙂

Ice Age Discovery Youth Program @ Walking Mountains Science Center

Join Walking Mountains Science Center with paleontologists from the Ice Age Discovery Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado for an afternoon of interactive investigation. Participants in 2nd through 5th grade have the opportunity to learn the story of the Ice Age first hand. Touch mammoth and mastodon teeth, wonder at the full size fossils of the American mastodon, giant bison, Jefferson’s ground sloth, Columbian mammoth, Ice Age deer, horse, camel, Black bear, Bighorn sheep, coyote, and beaver. At the end of the program, take home a hand-made fossil replica from a real Ice Age fossil!

This is not a drop-off program. Guardian participation is required.
