WHAT: March for Babies is the premier event for mom/baby health. It’s also the nation’s oldest charitable walking event and the largest annual March of Dimes fundraiser. Since its inception in 1970, March for Babies has raised over $1 billion for healthy babies. The event takes place in more than 1,000 U.S. cities and towns each year and over a million people take part as walkers, volunteers and sponsor. Colorado walkers are encouraged to raise $200 or more by collecting donations, and can win great prizes for their fundraising accomplishments. On event day, people come together (as family teams, company teams and as individual participants) to celebrate the hope of a healthy pregnancy for every mom and a healthy start for every baby.
