Arapahoe County Fair. On July 24-28, the Arapahoe County Fair  includes all the fixins for a classic county fair including rides, a carnival, animals, a rodeo, Kid Corral, open classes, Demolition Derby and more. Hours vary by day, cost is $5; children 12 and under are free and parking is $5. Carnival and midway games are extra.  Location: Arapahoe County Fairgrounds, 25690 E. Butterfly Pavilion Insectival. On July 20, come one, come all…it’s the coolest, craziest, crawliest carnival on earth! Butterfly Pavilion’s annual Insectival event lets you experience the wondrous world of insects in a festive, fun-filled carnival atmosphere. Learn while you play games under the Big Top and take part in dozens of activities including an vendor fair.
