If you have, you know all about the dreaded “cheese touch.” My friend Eva and my son Bode have somehow waged a cheese-touch war and Bode is the latest to have that dreaded curse fall upon him. He concocted his plan while we sat in church. “Mom,” he whispered.” “I need to make them a tasty treat and I can put the cheese in an envelope when we deliver it to them.” It was the perfect Trojan Horse! We are always making cookies so we opted for a new-to-us recipe and it was a winner. Eva fell for it hook, line and sinker. The happy moral of the story for having the cheese touch? Despite the fact that I have always lived in land-locked Colorado I have always been a fan of great seafood. To great fanfare, Red Lobster introduced the 31st annual event – Lobsterfest. I was invited to try several new (and some returning) amazing lobster loaded dishes as part of a tasting of this year’s menu. The meal was served family-style with myself, my sister and five others who were invited to try the new stuff (one couple was invited because they dine there often; the other three ladies responded to a Yelp review).
