Town of Frisco

The Town of Frisco, known as the “Main Street of the Rockies” has an iconic Wassail Days celebration that truly embodies the holiday spirit. Each year, Frisco hosts a weeklong celebration of the winter and holiday season with wassail, a traditional warm Old English apple cider. Over the years, Frisco’s Main Street businesses have worked to perfect their own iterations of this holiday staple, collectively serving more than 5,000 complimentary cups to guests each year. G

This year’s Wassail Days, Saturday Nov. 27 – Sunday, Dec. 5, features a line-up of favorite Frisco holiday activities:

  • Small Business Saturday (Nov. 27)
  • Frisco Tree Lighting in the Historic Park (Nov. 27)
  • Santa Visits at the Historic Park (Nov. 28)
  • Free Nordic skiing and snowshoeing at the Frisco Nordic Center (Nov. 30)
  • Summit County Preschool’s Breakfast with Santa (Dec. 4)
  • Story Time at the Historic Park Gazebo (Dec. 4)
  • Santa Visit at the Historic Park (Dec. 4)
  • Carolers on Main Street (Dec. 4)
  • Carolers on Main Street (Dec. 5)
  • Après Wassail Concert at the Historic Park Gazebo (Dec. 5)

Guests are encouraged to taste a variety of styles and support local businesses while filling in their “12 Sips of Wassail Card.” Once the “12 Sips” card is complete, guests can turn them in at the Frisco/Copper Information Center in exchange for a commemorative Frisco Wassail Days mug designed by the artists of the Frisco Art Collective.
