What does weather have to do with climate? What is climate change, and why is it important? These are just a couple of the big questions that scientists around the world are investigating- and we want you to join the effort! On November 10th of every year, organizations around the world celebrate International Science Center and Science Museum Day – a day dedicated to teaming up and bettering the world through the power of science.

Here at FCMoD, you can do your part by learning more about weather, climate, and what it means for all of us. With fun, interactive stations throughout the museum gallery, what you discover might just blow you away!

Museum Takeover is a monthly series where we deep dive into a particular subject with fun and educational activity stations in the exhibit gallery. Activities are open to all ages, but recommended for children 5 and older.
