Spooky family sleepover at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science!

Have you always dreamed of spending the night in a museum? On October 25-26, spend an enchanting night experiencing the magic of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science with your whole family! A few fun things you’ll find: Wear your costumes while participating in Halloween hands-on science, crafts and more. Snuggle up for Storytime and enjoy a show in the Gates Planetarium. After a night of fun, sleep among the animals in our world-famous diorama halls. The fun starts at 6 p.m. Friday and extends to 8 a.m. Saturday. Latkes and Lights Hanukkah tickets on sale

The Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC Denver) is hosting its third annual Latkes and Lights Hanukkah event on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the community center. Last year, this in-demand event sold out and included a lengthy waitlist. This year, the JCC Denver has increased its capacity for the event to welcome even more attendees. Tickets go on sale October 7 at 10 a.m. The event includes Hanukkah fun and food including: Latke competition where guests can taste and judge latkes to determine who has the best from local Denver restaurants and a separate latke competition from community members’ family recipes. Denver Deals: Christmas craft shows, Dia de los Muertos and more!

Denver will celebrate the holidays with a free drone show every night downtown. The show will last 15 minutes, starting at 7 p.m. above Metropolitan State University Auroria Campus. The first show will debut on November 22 and run through New Year’s Eve. Plus, there will be special shows before the Broncos game on December 2, the Nuggets game on Christmas Day, and the Avalanche game on New Year’s Eve. The show will feature animated holiday scenes.
