Multisensory Exhibition ‘Biophilia: Nature Reimagined’ Opening at the DAM!

In summer 2024, the Denver Art Museum (DAM) will present Biophilia: Nature Reimagined, a multisensory exhibition that brings more than 70 imaginative works, including architectural models and photographs, objects, fashion, digital installations and immersive art experiences that coleively highlight the transformative power of nature. Dates: Biophilia will be on view May 5-Aug. 11, 2024 in the museum’s Anschutz and Martin and McCormick galleries on level 2 of the Hamiton Building. Denver Center Theatre announces date night & kid-friendly productions

Denver Center Theatre Company Artistic Director Chris Coleman recently announced the 2024/25 season for the regional producing theatre arm of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA). The Denver Art Museum (DAM) will host its 22nd annual Día del Niño (Day of the Child) celebration on Sunday, April 28, with free general admission for all, bilingual activities, hands-on artmaking, musical and artistic performances and more. Arts Week will showcase free events and artists

Arts Week at The Orchard Town Center is almost upon us! This collaborative seven-day event, spanning various neighborhoods, including Westminster’s new downtown area and the eclectic Historic Westminster, will showcase the talents of the local makers, creators and artists who make up the city’s diverse artistic community.   The kick-off event at the Orchard Town Center will feature a myriad of activities on April 20th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., including live music performances, pottery demonstrations, a painting project hosted by Whimsy Paint & Sip, chalk art participatory opportunities and a community mural where attendees can leave their mark. Don’t miss Shakespeare in the Parking Lot

WHAT: Shakespeare in the Parking Lot is a Denver Center for the Performing Arts Education and Community Engagement program.     Shakespeare in the Parking Lot presents stripped-down, abridged versions of Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Macbeth centered around a pickup truck “set” in the middle of a parking lot. On Monday, April 8, buckle in for a family presentation on all things Eclipse at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science’s Planetarium! Learn about: What makes an Eclipse an Eclipse Characteristics of this Total Eclipse How to safely view an Eclipse Lead by DMNS’s Educator Performers, this presentation in our state-of-the-art Planetarium will leave you with fast facts to show off! Colorado Rockies Opening Day Family Fun 2024

Grand Opening: New Esports lounge at this Denver recreation center

On April 2 at 10:45 a.m., blast off on a musical journey into outer space in this Tiny Tots Orchestra Performance for toddlers and early elementary students at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science! Families will join a teaching artist and special guests on an underwater adventure, hearing music that sounds like the ocean and the creatures that live deep within it. Get ready for a deep dive into the orchestra. On April 23-28, 2024, Boulder Chorale welcomes Uvalde, Texas’s prize-winning high school Mariachi band, and will host an exciting series of performances and workshops along the Front Range.
