Don’t miss Free Days 2025: Your guide to free museums, zoo and attractions.
It’s the (free) gift that keeps on giving!
Just in time for winter break and forecasted mild temperatures, Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance is offering Kids Free December presented by Primrose Schools. All children ages 15 and younger receive free daytime admission through Dec. 31 to experience more than 2,500 animals across DZCA’s 80-acre campus, and popular habitats, including Toyota Elephant Passage, Benson Predator Ridge, Down Under and recently renovated Tropical Discovery. There are also daily animal talks and demonstrations featuring Asian elephants, African penguins, bighorn sheep, flamingos, vampire bats, tigers and many others.
With highs expected in the 50s and 60s over the next two weeks, the holidays are the perfect time to spend time outside with family and friends during the holidays and winter break. DZCA is open daily (except for Christmas day) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for adults are $15.75 for ages 16-64 and $13.65 for ages 65 and up and can be purchased at DenverZoo.org.
DZCA also offers a range of membership options that provide members with free daytime admission for a year along with other discounts and privileges, including exclusive member hours, train and carousel vouchers, food and merchandise discounts, access to exclusive members-only hours during peak months, annual guest vouchers and early access to special events and programs.
