Join the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot – Denver’s Greatest Thanksgiving Tradition

Note: Don’t miss Denver’s Top Thanksgiving Dinners and Events for Thanksgiving 2024.

Hey Turkey Trotters,

Mile High Mamas and their families are invited to join the 51st annual Mile High United Way Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day! Get your tail-feathers moving at Washington Park in Denver and celebrate with your family, friends, community, and of course me, Gobbles the Turkey.

The Mile High United Way Turkey Trot offers something exciting for everyone. The Turkey Trot course is a 4-mile walk/run and the Lil Gobbler Family Fun Run is just under a mile. Children of all ages can participate in the Lil Gobbler Family Fun Run then relax with family-friendly activities in the Lil Gobbler Family Zone after the race. We’ll have games, face painters, and even pictures with me! The Turkey Trot Finish Village also features live entertainment, a beer garden, food vendors and more.

Last but not feast, your registration helps create opportunities for Metro Denver families. Thanks to Turkey Trotters like you, Mile High United Way is expanding access to high-quality early learning and childcare, connecting young adults to education and workforce development opportunities and ensuring families can meet their basic needs.

I sure am plucky to share this holiday you all – we look forward to spending some thyme together at the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot. Register today!

Since 1887, Mile High United Way has brought people together to solve our region’s most pressing issues. From early childhood education and homelessness to food security and economic mobility — we have united people, ideas and resources to advance the common good. Three interconnected community priorities guide our programs and investments: giving all children a strong start, supporting education and academic success, and creating economic opportunity for all.
