Do you know of someone struggling with infertility in Denver?
The Jewish Fertility Foundation (JFF) is pleased to announce its upcoming Pathways to Parenthood event, a free educational and community-building gathering designed for individuals and couples navigating various family-building options. The event will take place on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Alliance Center, 1536 Wynkoop St, Denver, CO 80202.
This comprehensive event will explore fertility treatments, surrogacy, third-party reproduction, and adoption. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from a distinguished panel of experts, including assisted reproduction lawyer Ellen Trachman and reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Alex Polotsky from Shady Grove Fertility, as well as individuals who have successfully navigated these paths to family building. Pathways will also provide an opportunity for attendees to meet others currently on similar family building journeys.
The nonprofit organization, which provides emotional support, educational programming, and financial assistance to community members trying to grow their families, launched its Denver location in May 2023 with generous support from Rose Community Foundation. Since then, JFF-Denver has given over $80,000 dollars in IVF and IUI grants, held over 30 in-person and virtual infertility support groups, and matched more than 35 ‘fertility buddy’ pairs for peer-to-peer support. Sara, support group attendee and participant in the fertility buddy program shared,“JFF has been a huge source of support through it all. I’m so grateful for the support group and have really connected with some of the women I met through it.”
JFF was founded in 2015 in Atlanta by CEO Elana Frank, and has nine total locations (in addition to Atlanta and Denver, they are in Birmingham, AL, Detroit, MI, Greater DC, Cincinnati, OH, Cleveland, OH, Miami, FL, and Pittsburgh, PA).
The Jewish Fertility Foundation’s Pathways to Parenthood event promises to be an evening of support, connection, and education. Attendees will leave with valuable information and resources, a community of support, and a hopeful outlook for those on a family-building journey.
