Memorial Day events and deals in Denver!

Memorial Day means so many things to me. It includes the unofficial start to summer (real summer doesn’t start until June 21). It means most kids are out of school for the summer – or will be soon. It means sales! Some of the hot deals are on big appliances and mattresses. But there are a slew of great other deals this weekend.

• Ace Hardware: First 240 customers at each participating store on May 25 will receive an American Flag.
• AMC Theaters: Get 25% off evening ticket prices every day before 4 p.m.
• Arc Thrift Stores: Get $10 off $30 or more this Memorial Day.
• Buffalo Wild Wings: All May long, get six wings free on orders of $20 or more (use promo code GOWings)
• Eddie Bauer. Eddie Bauer will have their 50% off sale including clothing, gear and home goods.
• LaMar’s Donuts: Active and retired miliary  get free donuts and coffee all weekend long.
• Olive and Finch: Olive and Finch Cherry Creek is celebrating their new dinner menu with 50% discounts any time from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. May 24-26, 2024.
• REI. REI is hosting their Anniversary Sale with up to 30% off REI Co-op brand gear, clothing and more through May 27.
• Sonic Drive In: Through June 2, stop by Sonic for 50% off all Classic an Master Shakes after 7 p.m. (and there is no limit!)
• Starbucks. Rarely do we see a deal at Starbucks. But this weekend get 50% off any handcrafted beverage from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 24 and on May 27. Special deals will be offered to Reward members through the app (check to app to see what your personalized offer is).
• Target. Getting your outdoors ready for summer is easy at the Target Memorial Day saving with up to 30% off patio furniture, fire pits, outdoor tools, grills and more.

• Water World: Active and retired miliary get a free one-day admission to Water World this weekend, May 25- 27, 2024. (You will have to present your military ID).
• Parking Downtown: Reminder that meters are free downtown Denver on Sundays and holidays.

Belmar is 20! Belmar Center in Lakewood is 20 Years Old! They are celebrating with a party on May 24 form 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. featuring live performances, delicious food (food trucks) fun family activities and more. You can get great drinks balloon twisters, caricatures and live art. On Saturday and Sunday evening enjoy the DJ party and themed Roller Rink nights.

Outlets at Castle Rock. Several stores through the center will have sales including sidewalk sales at Adidas, Columbia, Yankee Candle and more. There will be free live music and tasty food truck options!

Urban Market at Denver’s Union Station. June 1,2, 15 & 16 Union Station will be the location for the open-air marketplace where you can find local arts and crafts, clothing, jewelry and more combined with amazing food and a live concert (starting at 12:00 p.m.)

Elitch Gardens. Now is the time to secure your season pass for just $77.99. Included in your pass is free parking, in-park discounts, and admission to the holiday spectacular, Luminova. If you are there over Memorial Day. Check out the Fireworks at the parks closing that night.
