Arts Week at The Orchard Town Center is almost upon us! This collaborative seven-day event, spanning various neighborhoods, including Westminster’s new downtown area and the eclectic Historic Westminster, will showcase the talents of the local makers, creators and artists who make up the city’s diverse artistic community.
The kick-off event at the Orchard Town Center will feature a myriad of activities on April 20th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., including live music performances, pottery demonstrations, a painting project hosted by Whimsy Paint & Sip, chalk art participatory opportunities and a community mural where attendees can leave their mark. Additionally, attendees can browse and support local-owned shops, including the Center’s tenant Create Marketplace and the curated selection of Firsthand‘s local artisans. During their visit to The Orchard Town Center, guests are encouraged to indulge in delicious food and drinks while enjoying live music at the Center’s 3 Margaritas and Windfall Brewing Co. Other unique offerings include olive oil tastings courtesy of Rocky Mountain Olive Oil and specialty chocolate demos by Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
Westminster Arts Week is the culmination of efforts involving key partners such as the North Metro Arts Alliance, Westminster Public Schools, the Paletteers Art Club, The Orchard Town Center and over 30 local businesses. From April 20th to April 27th, residents and visitors alike are invited to partake in various free events designed to foster community engagement and appreciation for the arts.
