WHAT: Shakespeare in the Parking Lot is a Denver Center for the Performing Arts Education and Community Engagement program.
Shakespeare in the Parking Lot presents stripped-down, abridged versions of Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Macbeth centered around a pickup truck “set” in the middle of a parking lot. In addition to in-school performances, free community performances take place April 6-May 18 throughout the seven-county metro Denver area.
WHEN: The DCPA celebrates its 700th performance with Macbeth at the Denver Jewish Day School on April 2.
Macbeth will begin at 10:50 am, followed by theatre workshops for students and educators at 12:45pm.
