Play your favorite video games and explore the world of esports at Sheridan Recreation Center! Esports camps and drop-in play are coming to a newly renovated esports lounge, complete with two 55” TVs, three gaming monitors and four Nintendo Switch consoles.
Celebrate the grand opening with South Suburban on Friday, March 29 from 2-7 p.m. Try out the state-of-the-art equipment, play popular games and learn more about upcoming programs. Plus, attendees can make gaming-themed crafts in the Creativity Lab.
At the event, players are also invited to enter Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournaments. The tournaments are free to enter, with cash prizes for winners and refreshments provided by Pie Society Pizza. Each player will also receive a raffle ticket to win a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
