Do you want an extra memorable Halloween?
Sweet Love, one of the largest pumpkins grown in Colorado, will be carved at Denver Botanic Gardens’ York Street location by professional carver Willy Tuz on Halloween day. The pumpkin weighs 1,687 pounds and was grown in Parker, Colorado by Chad New. Tuz, who carved many of the pumpkins on display at the recent Glow at the Gardens, will create an etched botanical design.
Visitors are invited to watch the live carving and access to the pumpkin is included with general admission. Advance tickets are encouraged.
WHEN: Tuesday, October 31, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., weather dependent.
WHERE: Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 York Street, Denver, 80206. The pumpkin is on the concrete pad at the top of the UMB Amphitheater.
