Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus just got even more colorful with their groundbreaking exhibit “Bloom” for early learners that will open on Monday, October 16
“Bloom will be a whimsical, nature-inspired space that nurtures the imagination with tangible and playful details,” said Museum President and CEO, Michael Yankovich.
To develop the exhibit, the Museum reviewed the latest research on the different types of play and their role in the cognitive, emotional and physical development for early learners (newborn—age 3), and used that knowledge to design Bloom in a way that promotes adult-child interaction and the curiosity, exploration and empowerment of the Museum’s youngest visitors.

This will be the Museum’s largest interior spacea featuring experiences like:
- an imaginative fairy garden with elements of light and sound
- grassy moguls
- a creative climber just for littles
- peek-a-boo with specialized smart glass
- plenty of amenities for families of newborns and toddlers.
To bring this space to the next level, original art pieces created by a team of Colorado-based artists will be woven throughout the exhibit to make this a truly one-of-a-kind immersive experience.
