    1. Indian Hot Springs: Relax and unwind at the Indian Hot Springs. They offer geothermal mineral water pools, private baths, a swimming pool, and a spa. It’s a great way to spend a soothing and rejuvenating day with the family.
    2. Heritage Visitor Center: Visit the Idaho Springs Heritage Visitor Center to learn about the town’s rich mining history. The center offers interactive exhibits, artifacts, and displays that educate visitors about the area’s past.
    3. Idaho Springs Reservoir: Head to the Idaho Springs Reservoir for a day of outdoor recreation. You can go fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply enjoy a picnic by the water. The serene surroundings make it a peaceful spot to spend time with your family.

They serve delicious barbecue dishes, including ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. The casual atmosphere and tasty food make it a hit with both kids and adults. If pizza is your jam, check out Beau Jo’s pizza’s delicious thick-crust Colorado-style pizza and calzones. 
    8. Historic District. Spend the afternoon visiting art galleries, boutiques and sipping on locally crafted suds or enjoying the Miner Street Market.
    9. Oh My Gawd Road. Take a ride on the wild side and drive up “Oh My Gawd Road” aka Virginia Canyon Road which gets its name from its unpaved, narrow and scenic views of Mount Evans and the Continental Divide.
