Wow Nuggets! Congratulations. We have another National Champion team in Denver! A friend recently asked me if I would prefer to get tickets to a concert of someone I don’t really follow too much or a sporting event that I’m not a giant fan of (but a fan). Planet Fitness. Planet Fitness clubs across Colorado (and all of the US!) are inviting high school students ages 14-19 to work out for FREE at any location from May 15-August 31 as part of the nationwide High School Summer Pass program. Generation Wild. Parent we’re it. We are the ones that can help instill a love of the outdoors in our kids. But GOCO (Great Outdoors Colorado) launched Generation Wild’s Share This Wonder-Full World encouraging all of us to get OUT[side]. There will be hopscotch in places across the state, and fun moments at Junteenth Festival in Five Points June 17-18 as well as the Dragon Boat Festival at Sloan’s Lake July 22-23.
Water World. Even though it seems to rain every day this year, we have learned that we love to play in the water thanks to Water World! They’ve added two new attractions – Centennial Basin and Roaring Forks Dueling Water Coaster.
