Deals: Free Pie for Pi Day, St. Patrick’s Day in Denver

Do you have big feelings around “spring forward” daylight savings? I don’t really mind the loss too much – and I really like the extra daylight at the end of my day. Plus, I am getting excited to spring. I’m not usually a QVC Shopper – but my mom is. A good number of things in her house are bought from the TV channel. But when she pointed out that I could get 6 large flowering plants for my yard for just $31 – which was a good enough deal and then there is a coupon HELLOSPRING25 where I get an additional 20% off. Pi Day. We used to think of math-smart people as nerds, but I can totally nerd out on a day that includes deals on pies. Pi day is celebrated on March 14 for the math pi 3.14.

·         BJ’s Restaurant – get half off large pizzas when you order delivery or takeout on their website or app.

·         Grimaldi’s Pizzeria – get double point son the rewards program when you place your order online or in app on Pi Day.

·         Marco’s Pizza – get 30% off menu prices with code GREAT30

·         Papa John’s – Buy one large pizza at regular price, get one large pizza for $3.14

·         Papa Murphy’s – Use code PIDAY to get 3.14% off (UGH a deal but seriously, so CHEAP!)

·         Sbarro – Join their rewards program to get a FREE NY XL slice when you purchase a drink.

·         Schlotzsky’s – on March 14 get a buy one get one free pizza!

·         Cici’s Pizza – Get $3.14 off adult all-you-can-eat buffet and get kids Combo for just $3.14 (dine in).

·         Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen – Get a chicken pot pie on March 14 for $10.29.

·         Village Inn – Get a free slice of pie with the purchase of any entrée on March 14.

·         King Soopers – Get a pie for just $5.49 when you download the coupon to your King Soopers Card.

St. Patrick’s Day in Denver. March 17 is St. Patrick’s Day. Most of the celebrations are more adult in nature but you can get some great deals on Guiness and see great live music this Friday at Cherry Cricket (Friday 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.); Clancy’s Irish Pub (Friday through Sunday); Buffalo Rose Restaurant (Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.); and Scruffy Murphy’s Irish Pub. Hotel Colorado. The kids will love learning and making their own history at Glenwood Spring’s Hotel Colorado. Glenwood Springs is one of my favorite little getaways. If you have not yet planned spring break, this off is good through April 2. The Ski-Swim-Stay package includes Adult Ski Lift Tickets to Sunlight Mountain, Adult All-Day Pool Passes to Glenwood’s Hot Springs, Kids 12 and under ski free (one per paid adult).
