Deals: Halloween Night Freebies in Denver, Fall Fun and More

Do you have your Halloween costume ready or are you still scrambling? Do you make one or do you buy? We’ve seen the ugly sweater take on a bigger life for Christmas and with the melding of the holidays, I recently saw a Halloween Ugly Sweater (at Sam’s Club and they are on sale). Maybe I will just wear that.

 Halloween Night Deals. In addition to all the fall fun and trick-or-treat streets across town from malls to Denver Broncos. There are plenty of ways for your kids to get their fill of candy. But if you are trick or treating the old-fashioned way (on Halloween night in neighborhoods) – you may want to fill up on a real meal before going!

·         MiciOn Halloween, kids dressed in costume on October 31 will get to eat FREE from Mici’s Bambini Menu, with purchase of an adult entrée. With eight locations, there is certain to be one near you.

·         ChipotleThe Boorito is back. If you are a member of Chipotle Rewards , when you visit on October 31 from 3 p.m. to close dressed up in a costume you can get a $6 entrée. They are having a couple other contests where you can win burritos or cash. For more details visit the app.

·         Applebees. Kids 12 and under eat for free on October 31 – up to two kids per adult entrée.

·         IHOP. Get a Scary Face pancake for free with purchase of adult entrée from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

·         Noodles & Company. Get a Halloween Boo-Go deal on October 31 – purchase a regular entrée get a small entrée free.  

·         Free Ride. Thanks again to the Sawaya Law Firm – get a free ride home if you are out trick or drinking.

·         Platterful. Are you having people over at your house?  Shake Shack Shake Deal. Shake Shack is not just about awesome burgers, but also awesome shakes (Hello, it is in the name). Fall shake flavors include Apple Cider Donut, Pumpkin Patch and Choco Salted Toffee. Until November 20 you can get a buy-one-get-one-free shake. Order on the app or online, add two shakes to your order, make sure the order is scheduled for 8 p.m. or later, use promo code: SHAKENIGHT at check out. One of the shakes will be free!  

 Subway Soups. Warm up the fall with $1 off soups every weekend in October. Yes – this is our Souped Up weekends deal. They are also running a promotion where you get $2 off 2 footlongs.

 Coors Light and Tide Team Up. Coors Light and Tide are pairing up to make your football Saturdays more fun. Drop your laundry at Brother’s Bar and Grill (1920 Market St) between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. this Saturday and it will be sent to a local Tide Cleaners location to be washed, dried and returned to your doorstep.  Winnie the Pooh at Newman Center. DU is thrilled to share Disney’s new musical stage adaption of Winnie the Pooh for five performances, November 11-13 featuring music and songs and awesome life-size puppets the whole family will enjoy!

Boo at 9+CO. The family-friendly Boo at 9+ CO  on Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. will include fun for everyone. Pick a pumpkin from the patch, concoct witches brew at Postino drink tent, jump in the photobooth, get your face painted, jam to the tunes of the live DJ and let the kids go trick or treating.  Donate Candy. You can donate unwanted and unopened candy to Operation Shoebox on or before November 22 and get PAID for it! Get $10 per pound of candy up to $100 per person.
