Deals: Colorado Day, Free Tacos, Back-to-School

My birthday, just like Colorado’s is in August. I love signing up for the loyalty clubs of the places I love the most and frequent – because they send me coupons on my birthday! It may be a bowl of noodles at Noodles & Company or a burrito at Qdoba! But I can eat on deals for the weeks surrounding my birthday. Go register now for the loyalty clubs – so that when your birthday rolls around you will get the emails for free meals too!
Colorado Day. Colorado is having a birthday…and the birthday deserves a celebration! Here are some fun ways to celebrate our state!
· History Colorado Center is offering a FREE day on August 1 to celebrate. Enjoy a full day of fun with the kids including arts and crafts, live music, popcorn, alpacas, snow cones and more! See our full list of Denver free days here!
· Colorado State Parks. Enjoy Free Entry to any of the state parks on Monday, August 1.
· Stranahan’s. Enjoy some adult fun at [Colorado’s own] Stranahan’s with free tours and concerts on Sunday, July 31.
Free Tacos. Respect the Taco on taco Tuesday, July 26 thanks to Jarritos Mexican Soda! Jarritos Mexican Soda is paying for tacos and Jarritos for guests in support of taquerias/small businesses. Kike’s Red Tacos from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (3640 W 38th Ave) and Carrera’s Tacos from 5 p. m. to 8 p.m (7939 East Arapahoe Road), get three tacos and one Jarritos per person. The offer is limited to first-come-first-served, while supplies last.
DC Leagues of Super Pets. Another great family film comes to the big screen this weekend. DC League of Super Pets have a lot of fun that your kids can participate in outside of the theater. IT starts on their website with activities; kids activity book; “turn your pet into a DC Super Pet” generator; and fun ar media filters!
Denver Broncos. Denver Broncos Training camp is a fun place to go see the team – even if you can’t afford a ticket to a regular game. All the Players are there, you can see them working out and maybe even get an autograph. Starting this Wednesday, July 27 there will be fourteen practices at the UC Health Training Center (13403 Broncos Parkway) open to the public, including practice with the Cowboys on August 11.
Target Deals. Target may be one of my favorite places to shop and this week they are running some great deals! Get 20% off outdoor furniture & décor; 20% off kids’ shoes; up to 30% off laptops, calculators, tablets and more; plus, get school supplies for as little as 25 cents!
Urban Outfitters. Do your kids like this store as much as mine do? I love this time of year because you can get an extra 50% off sale styles – and the kids can go to school with some awesome new duds and your wallet won’t hurt too much for back-to-school clothes!
Free Concerts and Movies. Have you checked out our lists for this summer? They are chock-full of events in nearly every corner of the city on almost any night of the summer, you can find free Denver outdoor concerts or outdoor movies to enjoy with the whole family outside!
