Deals: Amazon Prime Days, Back-to-School Deals and More

I love the Hari Mari flip-flops that I discovered when I visited Outdoor Retailer this year. Beyond their fun colorful designs – I love that even the name makes me smile. Hari means “of the sun” and Mari means “of the sea” (I guess my sea will have to be Chatfield Reservoir :-). I also love that for every pair purchased a percentage goes to fight pediatric cancer.

Amazon Prime Days. This week, July 12 & 13, Amazon Prime Days returns. Heralded as the Black Friday of the summer – the sale promises deals on several different items with the best deals on Amazon Echo, Fire and Kindles. You do have to be a member of Amazon Prime. But, you can get a free trial membership (just don’t forget to cancel)

Target Deal Days. Target Deal Days starts July 11 and last three whole days with big savings at Target. Score deals on electronics, beauty, household items, toys and more.  The best part is that you don’t have to join a program (and remember to cancel later) as the deals are designed for everyone. Plus, Target has its school supplies on sale already.

Cherry Creek North Sidewalk Sale. July 14-17 Cherry Creek North will have their annual sidewalk sale. Some of the 80 great high-end shops and boutiques will have great deals.

Kohls. Kohl’s is having a huge sale. You can get shoes for as little as $4.20 when they are an extra 50% off clearance shoes. Find Girl’s clothing for $1.68. Kohl’s Outerwear (coats) can be up to 90% off. AND you can earn Kohl’s cash (for every $50 spent, you get $10 to return later).

Old Navy. Old Navy is having a massive back-to-school sale – with uniforms (polo shirts & shorts) for under $5, girls dresses are just $6 and women’s dresses are $9, summer shorts styles for as low as $1.48.

Great Clips. Do people in your house need a summer freshen-up haircut? Search for the $5 off a haircut coupon with Great Clips.

JC Penney Liter Sale. My sister used to be known for her hair. She still uses Biolage. But she told me she gets it when there are liter sales. This month J.C. Penny is having their liter sale where you can get top-brand shampoo and conditioner liters for as low as $9.99.

Free Yoga. Enjoy the free Rooftop Yoga at 9+Co on Thursday, July 14 from 6 to 7 p.m. on the rooftop deck of MILO (4109 E 10th Ave). Yoga is free but you need to sign up.

Cheyenne Frontier Days. If you and your family love the National Western Stock Show, you might consider a summer drive up to Cheyenne, WY for Cheyenne Frontier Days. You may know that they have concerts and rodeo – but did you know they have some really unique and fun foods? I’m talking inventive stuff like a Fruity Pebbles Shrimp Po’ Boi. Tickets to the rodeo can be as little as $18. I call that a deal for a full day of fun!

Free Concerts and Movies. Have you checked out our lists for this summer? They are chock-full of events in nearly every corner of the city on almost any night of the summer, you can find free Denver outdoor concerts or outdoor movies to enjoy with the whole family outside!
