The U.S. Navy is getting tech-savvy when talking about what they do! They brought Virtual Reality using an Oculus Rift to experience the Navy ship, the Nimitz to Thomas Jefferson High School. Specifically aimed at STEM students the Navy the video preview of the Nimitz to show inside the ship and let the kids see what the Navy life might be like. The Navy also introduced a $25,000 enlistment bonus program.

Earth Day. Earth Day is officially this Friday, April 22. There are several ways you can help celebrate our planet this coming weekend. We have a full round-up here!
Saturday, April 23
· Aurora Earth Day – Enjoy guided nature hikes and walks at the Aurora Reservoir form 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
