I heard about this on a podcast several months ago – and now…it’s coming to Denver!! Le Diner en Blanc is an awesome group experience where hundreds of people meet in an undisclosed spot all wearing white, bring white linens and chairs (BYO) and their own picnic dinner. It is a global phenomenon and apparently quite a spectacle. Plus, Denver is almost sold out already! Be a part of it – or get on the waitlist already for next year! I can’t wait and have already picked out my white dress (which also may make an Easter appearance)!
Smashburger. Every Friday through April 15 you can get a buy-one-get-one for a dollar beer-battered Pacific Cod Sandwich. Smashburger is opening its first full-bar restaurant in Lowry. Get a draft beer and ca Classic Smashburger for just $10 at the Grand Opening – Saturday, April 2 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be other fun giveaways at the Grand Opening as well!
Arvada Kite Festival. On Sunday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 pm. The Stenger Soccer Complex (at 58th and Quail) will be showing off all its colors with the Annual Kite Festival. There will be kites (duh), music, food, activities, demos, contests and more. Plus, it’s free!

Free Shakespeare in the Parking Lot. Starting April 9 at 12 noon, the Bard returns as the Denver Center for the Performing Arts Education program’s Free Shakespeare in Parking Lots. These abridged versions of Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream are performed in parking lots across town.
