Every child should have the opportunity to build connections, explore their passions and feel loved and supported along the way. As a mother of three amazing (and now fully grown-up) children, these truths are so important to me. They’re why I started getting involved in school summer programs in the first place. It brings me so much joy at the end of a day of camp when I see the smiles on kids’ faces as they excitedly tell their parents all they did—what they learned, what they accomplished, the friends they met and the memories they made.
I’ve been the Director of Summer Programs at Kent Denver School since 2017. While the work and planning keep me busy, I’ve loved every minute of it. Because I truly believe in our purpose. I’ve seen the impact. And I hope your family gets to experience that with us this summer.
For working parents making summer plans, Summer at Kent Denver offers a wide variety of camp options that allow you to customize and build a schedule that matches your child’s interests and also fits conveniently into your busy lifestyle.
With nearly 100 offerings at the school’s beautiful 200-acre campus in metro Denver, we give all children ages 3-18 the opportunity to experience creative, hands-on learning in the arts, athletics, academics, innovation and technology.
Let’s start with our spectacular sports camps. With over 20 options to choose from—including basketball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, volleyball and more—our experienced and attentive varsity coaching staff and their assistants will meet campers wherever they are. Whether they’re competitive and looking to take their skills to the next level, or they’re just looking to exercise and play with friends, they’ll get a terrific experience.
How about art? From performing arts—like musicals, plays and our popular Hogwarts camps—to visual arts such as clay and hand-building, and even the culinary arts of cooking and baking, we’ve got something special for every young artist.
Academics, innovation and technology? Your camper can go from designing, building and coding one week to news writing and reporting the next week.
Oh, and did I mention our Tiny Farm Day Camp? That’s right—we have an actual farm on our campus, and it’s awesome. This unique camp provides amazing outdoor learning experiences for kids, including visits with animal friends like rabbits, chickens and ponies.
With all our incredible offerings, there really is something for everyone here. But what makes Summer at Kent Denver truly special is the talented, dedicated and caring teachers and coaches we have here on staff. These people are passionate about their fields and committed to giving each camper the best experience possible. With their help, we make sure that EVERY kid in our program feels seen, heard and cared for. Regardless of your child’s age, interests or background, they will have a home here—one where they feel connected, appreciated and empowered.
