Kindergarten Prep
In the Kindergarten Prep group, your child will work with Summit Pediatric Therapy’s seasoned pediatric therapists to establish and promote skills necessary for a successful classroom experience. Pre-writing and pre-literacy activities are incorporated through books, music, art, and play. Your child will discover letter sounds, rhymes, and work on perfecting writing their name with their new friends. Find your spot at circle time, line up, and engage in a structured classroom-like setting with peers to gear up for the new school year! Based primarily on social-emotional development rather than academic preparation, these programs help children become familiar with a classroom setting and group norms, while engaging in a learning environment that is supportive of children’s comprehensive development.
