There is no reason to dislike Valentine’s Day if you are single. There are all kinds of great deals that don’t require a romantic partner to be your plus one – just a friend!  So wear your red, put your heart on your sleeve and get out there! And even if you do have a special person on Valentine’s Day, you can still celebrate your gal pals on Galentines! We’ve found some great deals for you.

Valentine’s Day. We have lots of ideas listed for you here. But if you want DEALS we have rounded up some below.

·         Qdoba. On Valentine’s Day (February 14) Qdoba rewards members (sign up in advance for free) get a buy one get one free entrée.

·         Larimer Square. There is a lot going on in Larimer Square for Valentines – scavenger hunt (daily from Feb 9-14) find the red heart to win a date night; Moda Man sale (up to 50% off); Victoriana Antique & Fine Jewelry sale; and a very special Valentine’s Dinner specials at Tamayo and Bistro Vendome.

·         Outlets at Castle Rock. When you purchase $150 or more on a single day between now and Valentine’s Day, bring your receipt to the Customer Service desk in the food court to get a free caramel apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Shopping + Sweets!

·         Belmar Pop Up Market. Lakewood’s Belmar will host a pop-up market with great giftable items for unique vendors on February 12 & 13. Items will include jewelry, chocolate, candles, fashions and more. The event will be from 12 noon to 6 p.m. each day.

·         Auntie Annes Pretzels is offering a Buy one Get one on Chocolate Frost on Feb 14.

·         Cinnabon. Cinnabon is offering a special for $15 which includes two of their awesomely gooey cinnamon rolls and two cold brews. What could be sweeter than that?

·         Harkin’s Theaters. Bring all your gal pals to celebrate Galentine’s Day February 11-14 with a screening of Bridesmaids, popcorn and a special pink lemonade for just $15.

·         IKEA. Sometimes you have to search for love – like the special scavenger hunt on February 13th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Guests should be on the lookout for hidden kamratling (heart-shaped plush) in every department. When you find them you could win heart-shaped gummies.

·         Papa John’s and Papa Murphy’s. They are both offering heart-shaped pizzas. Papa John’s is just $11.99 available Feb 7-14 and Papa Murphy’s is $10 or $11 available through Feb 14.

·         Regal Cinema. My Galentine’s plans include the special showing Magic Mike for just $5 at Regal Cinemas on Feb 13.

 Dunkin Donuts. Wednesday, February 9 & 16, get a FREE medium hot or iced coffee if you are a DD perks member (membership is free).

Colorado Garden and Home Show. The 63rd Annual Garden and Home show will be at the Convention Center from February 12-20. Adult admission is only $12 and kids 12 and under are free. But there are also ways you can get in cheaper: Go during the weekdays (Monday to Thursday) get a buy one, get one free admission or buy your ticket online via AXS.   

Downtown Boulder Sidewalk Sale. Boulder’s Pearl Street merchants are having a mid-winter Sidewalk sale February 11-13. Let’s hope for great weather!

 Spring Skiing. Colorado Ski Country’s Passport program is coming to a seasonal close. Make sure that if you have a 4th, 5th or 6th grader you sign up. The kids get free days of skiing at each of the 21 member resorts and a free first-timer lesson. The pass also allows you to get 2 free daily rentals of gear for Christy Sports. So, you don’t even have to pay for the equipment to expose your kiddos to the sport! Parents can grab the Gem’s card good for amazing buy one get one deals.

 Amazon Prime Raising Rates.  Amazon Prime is increasing their rate by $20 starting February 18. It will jump from $119 annually to $139. However, if you purchase a gift membership (given as a gift card) and stop your auto-renew; you can use the gift card purchased at today’s rate to save that $20.

Hamilton Tickets. If you have not been able to afford tickets to see Hamilton as it comes back to the Denver Center – try their lottery. You have a chance to win the opportunity to buy two tickets at just $10 each. Each Friday register for the following week’s performances. Register at hamiltonmusical.com/lottery.

30% off YMCA of the Rockies and Snow Mountain Ranch in February! To celebrate winter travel in the Rocky Mountains this month, YMCA of the Rockies is offering 30% off lodge room stays of 3 nights or longer during the month of February at Snow Mountain Ranch or Estes Park Center.
