Get Free Tickets for Denver Museums & Attractions at the Public Library!

Denver has world-class attractions and museums but visiting them is not always affordable. That’s why we recently published Denver Free Days for 2022 with free access to your favorite family-friendly Denver attractions. Don’t want to battle the crowds on Denver’s free days? We don’t blame you! Here is how you can use your public library card to reserve a day at Denver’s best museums for free. Participating cultural institutions include the Butterfly Pavilion, the Denver Trolley, Denver Zoo, History Colorado Center, the Colorado Railroad Museum, DMNS and more.

Free Adventure and Exploration Passes at the Public Library!

Use your Jefferson County, Douglas County, Denver County or Araphoe County public library card to reserve a FREE Adventure Pass to one of Denver’s participating cultural institutions. That’s right, simply use your library card to reserve free passes up to advance.

Jefferson County Public Library Culture Pass

JCPL purchases memberships at local art, culture, history and outdoor destinations so that library cardholders can explore Colorado for free. Culture Pass benefits vary by destination. Each library cardholder is eligible for two Culture Passes per month. Limit one pass per institution, per library card at a time. Participating attractions:

Douglas County Libraries Adventure Pass

Use your library card to reserve a Douglas County Libraries Adventure Pass to one of their local participating cultural institutions. Reserve free passes up to 14 days in advance. Participating attractions:

Denver Public Library Museum and Cultural Passes

Library passes are offered in limited quantities by participating institutions. Many also offer free days and other low-cost options for community access. Reservations may be booked 2 weeks in advance. A library pass does not guarantee entry. Registration processes vary by institution and additional registration steps for timed entry may be required. Arapahoe Library Exploration Pass

Any Arapahoe Libraries cardholder can reserve an Exploration Pass, which grants admission to several metro-Denver attractions at no charge. Reserving an Exploration Pass does not guarantee entry. Many attractions are offering limited, scheduled entry for paid guests, members and pass holders. Book passes up to 30 days ahead of time; a maximum of two passes booked at one time.
