Santa Claus is Coming to Town and fanfare for Santa’s arrival is back!  If your kids (or you) missed Santa’s grand arrival and the fun festivities that usually surround it last year, you will be delighted to know that this year –Santa Claus is making appearances all over Denver all season long. 

Holiday Fun in Denver. Don’t miss our Ultimate Guide to the Holidays with Denver’s best light displays and family fun. If you’re lucky, we’ll have a white Christmas so don’t miss our Ultimate guide to outdoor skating in Colorado and 30 places to go sledding in Colorado. And if you need some inspiration with your shopping, check-out Denver’s best holiday markets and craft fairs.

Where to Find Santa in Denver

FlatIron Crossing. Saturday, November 13, at 9:30 AM with a delicious FREE breakfast provided by Eggland’s Best! Plus, enjoy entertainment by the Jackman Brothers, a performance from Broomfield School of Rock, cookies, hot cocoa, face painting, giveaways & much more! Visit and get a photo with Santa daily through December 24. Plus, get some cheer for mom and dad when you upload $500 same-day receipts you get a $50 mall gift certificate. Cherry Creek Shopping Center. November 20 is the big day for the annual tree lighting. from 5-7 pm, to kick off the holiday season with Nick Ferguson! Enjoy hot chocolate, sweet treats, and entertainment as we count down to the lighting of our 60’ Christmas tree! Then, gather inside for an after-party and more festivities! Santa’s Flight Academy is a fun interactive exhibit that culminates in meeting Santa available through December 24. Sensory Santa (for kids with Autism and other sensory issues) December 5-12. And if you also have “furry kids” Santa Paws will be available November 29-December 13. Free festive live holiday entertainment every Friday and Saturday, November 20 through December 24. 

Outlets of Castle Rock. Saturday, November 13th to see national recording artist CAM in concert! Popular Colorado cover band, The Radio Band, will get the party started then we will welcome Santa Claus and the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders to light the 55-foot Christmas tree! The FREE family fun starts at 3:30 PM. Kick-off the holiday season at Outlets at Castle Rock.

Cabela’s and Bass Pro. Santa’s Wonderland runs from November 6 through December 24. Kids can visit with Santa (and get a free 4×6 photo), send a letter, and bring home crafts.  

Gaylord Rockies. This event is NOT free – but there is so much to do there. Gingerbread houses with Mrs. Claus, Storytime, Naughty or Nice Escape Room, campfire and s’mores, snowdrift mini golf, scavenger hunt, ice bumper cars, ice skating, ice merry go round, snow tubing, cirque, and Elf…They do have a great package the more activities you buy the more you get off 20%, 30% or 40%. The fun begins on November 19.

Camp Christmas. The DCPA is at it again creating a fun Christmas interactive event. Santa really knows how to glamp it up! The six-acre winter wonderland in Lakewood features light displays, immersive exhibits, craft cocktails, campfire cocoa, visits with Santa and so much more! Camp Christmas runs through December 31. Timed visits with Santa and more.
