Can I just gripe here a little? I love back to school. The new books and supplies are awesome. I love a brand-new outfit and planning what I will wear is fantastic (and I would usually get TWO new outfits because I’d get one for my August birthday). But, what happened to just loving that? Now I’m seeing pumpkin spice things pop up already? I’ve seen loads of fall pins on Pinterest. I think many people got a “pass” on putting up their Christmas lights early last year because of covid – but, let’s just love the last fading days of summer, of hearing the ice cream truck and of jumping in the lake. Now if you’ll excuse me so I can go back-to-school shopping and score some great deals!

Tough Mudder. Have you ever really wanted to be an adult and run through the obstacle courses that you remember as a kid? Saturday, July 24 and Sunday July 25 at Sterling Ranch (west of Highlands Ranch) is your chance. There are three different courses and a kid’s course for kids aged 5 to 12. Plus, as a MHM reader you can get 10% off when you register using code: MHMAMA

Free School Supplies from Ibotta. I am embarrassed to say that I still have not used Ibotta but several of my money-saving friends tell me I am totally missing out. The newest promotion is that you can get school supplies for FREE. Just download the extension to your computer and you can get $20 cashback when you purchase school supplies!

Dick’s Style. That all important, image-setting look on the first day of school is so important (almost as important as saving money)! Dick’s Sporting Goods is having a great sale to make the kids look great on their first day as well as us moms as we drop them off at school and then head off on our own  Summer Clearance Event – take up to 70% off online and in select stores for footwear, apparel, team sports and accessories; Up to 40% off select men’s and women’s footwear from top brands like Nike, Adidas, Vans and more; Up to 50% off kids’ winter clothing; Up to 50% off women’s hoodies and sweatshirts; Save up to 50% off all licensed gear at the DICK’S Sporting Goods Fan Shop; and select men’s, women’s and youth apparel up to 50% off!

7-Eleven Slurpee. This year, instead of just one day celebrating 7-Eleven day on July 11, you can pick any day that is convenient for you to get your free Slurpee. You just need to download the store’s app.

Arby’s. Arby’s is introducing their new kid’s meals. For a limited time, purchase a regular meal you can get a kids meal for just $1! Yep, just one dollar!

Renaissance Festival. The Renaissance Festival is back this summer and just a few weeks left. Pick up a coupon at Subway for great discount including a free child admission ticket with the purchase of adult admission – and head down to Larkspur for entertainment and fun of Renaissance times.

Hallmark Card. When you join their Hallmark Loyalty program (which is free) you get one card a month absolutely free. Plus, they have a new program that is a “sign and send” card. You pick out a card, hand write a message, upload that message, then Hallmark prints it onto the card and sends it for you! You get to try that once free as well when you join their loyalty club.

Four Mile Historic Park. Ever want to try goat yoga? Here’s your chance! Four Mile Historic Park invites you to come and experience yoga classes with a twist. Along with launching weekly goat yoga classes with Rocky Mountain Goat Yoga, Four Mile is also partnering with Refresh Studios to host yoga and meditation sessions – some under the moonlight.

Free Days. We compiled a list of several free days earlier this year. As a reminder to that, this week you can get in free to the Clyfford Still Museum on July 25; The Denver Art Museum allows kids 18 and younger free every day (thanks to a grant); and several other locations have deals when you pick up the packs at the libraries or use SNAP benefits.
