Kindergarten Prep Group
The intent of the Kindergarten Prep Group is to provide classroom-like experiences for children who may or may not have had any preschool experiences or who need more support as they prepare for the transition to kindergarten. The expected result is that children are more prepared for the school-based environment and learning activities as they enter kindergarten. The transition to kindergarten is meant to be one of the most important milestones a child will experience. Children with few group experiences may find adjusting to the kindergarten setting more challenging than children who have attended early childhood education programs. In response, Summit’s Kindergarten Prep Group is based primarily on social-emotional development, along with early literacy preparation. Kinder Prep helps children become familiar with a classroom setting while engaging in a learning environment that is supportive of their comprehensive development.
Kindergarten Prep Group will be offered at Summit Pediatric Therapy’s Aurora, Centennial, Denver, and Littleton locations. If you have questions on whether your child would benefit from our Kindergarten Prep group, please give us a call (720-542-8737) or register through our website, www.summitpedstherapy.com.

Cheley truly gives its campers formative experiences that nourish body, mind, and spirit. In today’s world, school is often synonymous with competition and stress.
