At Littleton School Of Music, We Want You To Play To Your Potential

I’m very proud of the wonderful learning atmosphere we’ve created at Littleton School of Music over the years… and our top-flight music faculty is one of the key elements of that atmosphere.
Our school has been described as a dynamic, high-energy place where happy people work, play, learn, and grow. We’re proud of our fantastic track record over many years, and of the safe, positive environment we’ve created and nourished for students of all ages and backgrounds.
Why Start Our Own School?
We started our music school in 2006, after years of working for other institutions, and we did it for a couple of important reasons.
First, we didn’t like the way music students were treated at other schools. Belittled… stressed out… virtually “worn out” by instructors who were more interested in trying to be rock stars than in seeing and encouraging the potential star in every student.
That’s not what we’re about.
Here, students learn to play to their potential – in music, and in life – in a positive, encouraging atmosphere where the instruction is patient, creative, insightful, and fun. We take great pains to find instructional teammates who “get it,” and who have the specific skills needed to foster our uniquely-positive environment.
The second reason we created our school was that we saw an opportunity to do far more than other music-lesson companies do for students and families. We go above-and-beyond to care for our music community, and to foster long-term, trust-based relationships with everyone whose lives we touch.
Maybe that’s why generations of families find Littleton School of Music a great place to learn… why our instructors love working here… why you’ll find dozens of enthusiastic five-star reviews for our school online… and why we’re the fastest-growing music school in the area.
A Happy Place For Everyone
People are happy at Littleton School of Music. That starts from the first moment we have the opportunity to meet them, and continues throughout their joyful journey toward potential musical mastery. That’s where our great faculty comes in.
As “Instructor/Inspirers,” our teachers facilitate the “play to your potential” philosophy throughout every student’s experience, for as long as they’re part of our musical community.
We look for outstanding professionalism, from the rigorous background checks we perform to the in-depth assessment of a teacher’s ability to inspire young people through music.
Our goal is always to find teachers who are patient, fun to work with, able to meet students “where they are,” and willing to help fan that flame of each kid’s love of music.
The ideal music teacher is also an unforgettable mentor. Music reaches deep inside a person, and has the power to move a student’s character in a positive direction.
We seek instructors who have the insight to sense “openings” for development beyond notes and technique, and the people skills to take advantage of those openings to help students play to their potential in all areas of music and life.
For teachers who have a passion for turning on the musical love in our students, and for helping them reach for more in every aspect of their lives, it’s a great place to call “home.”
And that’s why I’m so proud of our faculty. As a team, we really go above-and-beyond to help students thrive in all aspects of life.
