12 Best Denver Restaurants for Thanksgiving Dinner (Dine-in and Take-out) in 2020

With COVID restrictions in place, we won’t be gathering around the dinner table with our umpteen cousins this year so why not make Thanksgiving a bit easier? Ace Eat Serve

Leave the cooking to the Ace Eat Serve (501 E. 17th Ave) team and pre-order a Peking Duck for the Thanksgiving holiday. Why not change things up for 2020 and enjoy duck instead of traditional turkey this year? The Peking Duck platter is $49 and serves 3-4 guests – includes a whole duck, mu shu crepes, pickled peppers, scallions, cucumber, apricot, chili sauce and hoisin. Pre-order by November 19.

Bellotta

Brand new in the Source and occupying Acorn’s previous space, Bellota (3350 Brighton Blvd) is offering Chef Manny’s Mexican mole chicken for Thanksgiving – and any time. Always available as an entrée on the regular menu, the Pollo en Mole Negro will also offer as a special for those looking to change things up a bit for the holiday. Think a whole chicken, Chef Manny’s 27-ingredient family-recipe Mole Negro, tortillas, and sides of rice and beans to serve 4. Buca di Beppo

Buca di Beppo is open for Thanksgiving and invites you to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in the restaurant or take-out. Their family-style meal ($22.99 per individual or $68.99 for service for three) starts at 11 a.m. and includes white meat turkey, gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, whole cranberry sauce, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, and pumpkin pie for dessert. Citizen Rail 

Celebrate Thanksgiving at trendy LoDo restaurant Citizen Rail. The three-course prix fixe is $75 per person Make a reservation at 3030-323-0017 or make a reservation online. They are also offering Friendsgiving + Thanksgiving-to-Go with a meal that includes colorado Blue Slate turkey, traditional sides, roasted pumpkin pie.  A portion of the proceeds from Friendsgiving orders will go to No Kid Hungry. Cracker Barrel

Gather ’round the table with Cracker Barrel’s Heat n’ Serve Feast, which feeds 8-10, or their new Family Dinner, which serves 4-6. Take a break from cooking and serve a delicious meal that comes chilled and ready to heat in 2 hours or less. Available for pick-up 11/21–29, while supplies last.

Kachina Cantina

Celebrate Thanksgiving with a Latin flair with Kachina Cantina’s Turkey Plate for $26 includes roasted achiote turkey (dark and white meat), garlic green beans, cranberry sauce, traditional stuffing, brown gravy, fire-roasted corn and whipped sweet potato. Pumpkin pie with cinnamon whipped cream is $8. Open noon to 8 p.m. 1890 Wazee St., Denver.

Ruth’s Chris

At Ruth’s Chris, they believe the best meals are the ones you don’t have to worry about. So this Thanksgiving, their doors will open at 11 am on Thanksgiving Day so you and yours can sit back, relax and enjoy the holiday — no planning or dishes required.  A three-course feast is $41.95 (adults) and kids are $14.95. Saltgrass Steakhouse

This Texan steakhouse is serving Thanksgiving Dinner Family to-Go Packs ($69.99) or a Dine-in Turkey Dinner. Their Thanksgiving Day Plate ($19.99) offers all the favorites: Turkey, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Choice of Soup or Salad, Bread & Butter for $19.99. Both Saltgrass Steakhouse Westminster and Parker locations are open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Steuben’s Arvada

Chef Jeff Stoneking, formerly of Cholon and Rosenberg’s, will be appearing as Guest Chef at Steuben’s Arvada. Chef Stoneking has prepared a delicious 7-course Thanksgiving meal for $175, which serves 4 – 6 people. For each meal served, Steuben’s will donate a Thanksgiving Meal to Arvada Community Table. Stoneking’s meal includes Thanksgiving Turkey, Sourdough & Cornbread Dressing, Grandma’s Sweet Potatoes, Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Green Bean Casserole, Buttermilk Whipped Potatoes, Cranberry Relish, Pumpkin Spiced Cobbler and the option to add red or white Vesta wines. Order By: November 18. Smok

Chef Bill Espiricueta at Smok is well-known for his regionally-inspired barbecue and for the first time this year his team is offering a Smoked Turkey Dinner to-go that features Smok favorites for a holiday celebration at home. Dinner serves 4-5 people and includes a 5# smoked turkey breast, two quarts of southern-inspired potato salad that’s spicy with deviled eggs, bacon and mustard; two quarts of Smok’s pit beans with brisket and pork and cheddar jalapeno cornbread with honey butter. The turkey comes smoked and ready for simple reheating at home; don’t forget to pick up one of Chef Bill’s famous full-size holiday pecan pies: they’re gorgeous with flaky golden pastry crusts and a touch of savory – Bill’s signature – on each, with an elegant dollop of crème fraîche to finish. A Spice of Life

A Spice of Life offers a Classic Thanksgiving Dinner for families and groups, including roasted turkey breast with rosemary gravy, buttermilk mashed potatoes, garlicky haricot verts, maple whipped sweet potatoes with maple pecan streusel and Dan’s Famous Stuffing Muffin. Also included are golden dinner rolls with whipped butter and classic cranberry sauce; all this for $175 and serving 4-6 guests. Ted’s Montana Grill

Available in-restaurant or to-go on Thanksgiving Day, Ted’s Montana Grill’s Traditional Roast Turkey Feast is $29. Includes roasted turkey and gravy with garlic mashed potatoes, herb dressing, buttered carrots, squash casserole, cranberry sauce and their famous apple pecan crisp.  Available at Colorado’s eight locations.
