Deals: Father’s Day, Starbucks, Fetch Market and More

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads. This year Father’s Day, this coming Sunday, is reason to celebrate. Maybe you plan a staycation at the YMCA or the back yard.

Denver Summer Activity Guide. Amber published our annual 2020 Denver Summer Activity Guide with 150+ activities! Many indoor facilities will be opening in the coming weeks so be sure to bookmark this awesome resource. And, of course, she also listed lots of free, outdoor fun for the whole family.

 YMCA Celebrates Dad.

·         YMCA OF THE ROCKIES IN ESTES PARK – https://blog.ymcarockies.org/fathers-day-celebration-at-estes-park-center/. Pick up special Father’s Day kits from the Craft Center to make dad a thoughtful gift or schedule to get a family portrait taken at the photo booth. Dad will love the new axe throwing activity or challenge him to a round of miniature golf (and win prizes!). In the evening, roast marshmallows around a campfire followed by an outdoor movie on the sprawling YMCA of the Rockies lawn. Fly fishing and horseback riding excursions are also available. Cabin rentals start at just $169/night and lodge rooms are $154/night.

·         SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH IN GRANBY – https://snowmountainranch.org/ . Father’s Day activities include card making, balloon toss, Father’s Day quiz bowl and fort building plus a scavenger hunt. Additional popular outdoor open activities include mini-golf, disc golf, horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking. Cabins start at $279/night and lodge rooms are available for $149/night.

McDonald’s Fries. Get free fries on Fridays at McDonald’s with the purchase of a dollar or more. To get the deal you need to order on the app to redeem the deal. Deal is good for one order per Friday through the end of June.

Starbucks Happy Hour. Every summer one of my (and my daughter’s) favorite things is the Starbucks Happy Hour. On select Thursdays from 2 p.m .to 7 p.m. Starbucks offers buy one get one free (with the app).

Amora Coffee Free. One of my favorite things is to sit on my deck on a cool summer morning and sip my coffee – even better if a friend joins me. So, while I do like the fancy coffee of Starbucks I also like to make some coffee at home. I recently ran across a deal for a free bag of Amora coffee. I just ordered this too (I have not received it yet). You pay for shipping.

Free Card FridayHallmark is at it again. Stop by your neighborhood Hallmark store on a Friday through June 26 to get a free card. Send someone a little perk!

Honey. I’ve written about this awesome little plug-in called Honey before but I think it warrants another mention, especially as we are ordering more and more online (or maybe it is just my street that has seen a lot more of the Amazon, UPS and FedEx trucks). This handy little plug in will scan all the available promo codes for you and save you tons of money! It will even tell you if you have the best deal already.

Fetch Markets. Fetch market is back at Stanley Marketplace. This Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21 the fun market featuring local vendors will be ready to sell to you at Stanley Marketplace. Entry is free.

Fit+Rock at Dairy Block. The Dairy Block Fit + Rock outdoor group exercise classes are returning in June for FREE.  June 23 and 30 will be The Barre Code (combination of barre and isometric movement with high-energy playlist). Plus, The Maven is offering 50% off to all military veterans, active-duty military and frontline healthcare workers now – Labor Day.  To register, please visit https://dairyblock.com/events
