Guide to Denver Easter Egg Hunts 2020

Here comes Peter Cottontail…and that means Easter egg hunts around the Denver area! Bring your basket and participate in one of the many Easter egg hunts and eggstravaganzas this spring.

Saturday, April 4

Hammond’s Easter Egg Hunt at Hammond’s Candies (Denver)
8:15 am – 1:15 pm
This day of family fun will include an Easter egg hunt, special Hammond’s lollipop, and a visit with the Easter Bunny! The participant fee is $5 per child, and reservations are required.

Easter Egg Hunt at Stenger Soccer Complex (Arvada)
9:30 am – 11:00 am
The 2020 Easter Egg Hunt will be at the Stenger Sports Complex! 11200 W. 58th Ave., Arvada, CO. The hunt starts at 11 am SHARP! Arrive early for games and more.

Easter Egg Hunt (Thornton, Northglenn and Ft. Lupton) at Crossroads Church 
9:30 am – 11:00 am
Enjoy Easter egg hunts in three locations.

The Great Egg Scramble at Belleview Park (Englewood)
9:30 am – 11:00 am
Hop on over and spend the morning collecting candy and prizes at the Great Egg Scramble! Bring a basket for your treasures. NEW: Accessible Hunt for anyone with special needs sponsored by Developmental Pathways.

Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt at South Fellowship Church (Littleton)
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join us for one huge glow party on Saturday, April 4th! Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunts will be taking place every 20 minutes. We’ll also have games, snacks and a glow in the dark dance floor! This free event is open to the community and sponsored by the South Fellowship Kids Ministry.

Castle Rock Special Egg Hunt at Douglas County High School (Castle Rock)
10:30 am – 12:00 pm
You and your family are invited to join us for the 5th Annual Special Egg Hunt. This is an amazing community event designed for kids of all ages, including those with special needs. We will have egg hunts designed for the hearing, vision and mobility impaired, as well as age-specific traditional egg hunts. We have 25,000 eggs ready for you, your family and friends to join us.

12:30 pm – 1:45 pm

Friday, April 10

Evergreen Easter Egg Hunt @ Buchanan Park Recreation Center (Evergreen)
5:30 pm – 6:45 pm
Evergreen Park & Recreation District’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held in the Buchanan Park Recreation Center Pool. Parents are encouraged to dress the kids in their swimsuits, grab their goggles and a plastic bag, and come have fun and collect Easter treats! The Easter Bunny will be on hand to pose for photos with kids.

Saturday, April 11

Community Easter Egg Hunt at The Ralton-Central Park (Arvada)
9:00 am – 11:00 am
Join us for a morning of smiles, refreshments, age-separated egg hunts, bounce house and more! FREE FUN

Easter Candy Hunt at Mile High Flea Market (Henderson)
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Hunt for candy, enter our kids and adult prize raffles, shop through tons of vendors, and enjoy the day full of family fun at the flea!

12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Jared’s Nursery, Gift and Garden (Littleton)
10:00 am – 11:15 am
Jared’s is hosting the 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 11th. In 2019 there were over 20,000 Easter Eggs on site for many age groups.

Easter Egg Hunt at Calvary Bible Church (Denver)
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Bring the kids age 12 and under, Easter baskets and your camera for a fun, free, egg hunt. Come anytime between 10 am and 12 pm. All are welcome!

Easter Egg Hunt at Maple Grove Park (Golden)
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Come meet the Easter Bunny! Find a Golden Egg and win a prize.

Easter Egg Hunt 2020 at Roosevelt Park Pavilion (Longmont)
10:00 am – 11:15 am
Spring is on the way, which means Easter is near. At White Fields, this is the largest Easter Egg Hunt in Boulder County every year in Roosevelt Park.

Easter Egg Race at Grandrabbit’s Toy Shoppe (Boulder)
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Every year, rain or shine, Grandrabbit’s Boulder location has Easter ‘Races’ in the courtyard behind the store. The Races happen the Saturday before Easter, and children ages 1 to 10 are welcome to participate. Every child that participates gets a certificate called Bunny Munny, and one lucky child will find the GOLDEN EGG.

Golden Family Easter Egg Hunt at Parfet Park (Golden)
10:00 am – 11:30 am
The Golden Kiwanis, and the Golden Chamber of Commerce with the support of Golden Downtown Merchants provide thousands of stuffed plastic eggs for the youth of Golden to enjoy at Easter.

Easter Egg Hunt 2020 at Northridge Park (Highlands Ranch)
10:00 am – 10:15 am
The Easter Bunny is coming to Highlands Ranch! Don’t forget your basket as there will be lots of goodies to take home. The Easter Egg Hunt is for children ages 1-11.

Spring Fling at The Urban Farm at Stapleton 
 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Spring has sprung and it is time for The Urban Farm’s annual Spring Fling! Head over to the hen house and rabbit hutch to learn about our heritage breed chickens and rabbits. Make sure you bring a basket or bucket to collect eggs & treats hidden throughout the farm. Enjoy crafts, games & farm activities including making a paper plate chicken or bunny, feeding the hens, grooming a mini horse, or playing pin the tail on a bunny.

Community Easter Egg Hunt at Mestizo-Curtis Park (Denver)
10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Join this community Easter egg hunt for popcorn, cotton candy, bounce castles, and crafts available FREE for kids and their families. Kids of all ages are welcome to participate in the fun!

Free Easter Egg Hunt at Wilmore Outdoor Living Center (Littleton)
11:00 am – 11:30 am
Fun for kids of all ages! Come and hunt for eggs around the property. You will want to get here early not only for a parking space, but this event starts at 11:00 on the dot. Trust me, it doesn’t take long for the kids to scoop up the 1,000+ eggs.

Photos with the Easter Bunny + Easter Egg Hunt! at Avalanche Harley-Davidson (Golden)
11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Come on out and meet the Easter bunny between 11-3 pm. There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt in the store for adults and kiddos.

Free Easter Egg Hunt at Riverside Church (Denver)
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
The egg hunt will begin at 2p in the West Foyer and continue down through the Children’s Level. 

Paws in the Park at Commons Dog Park (Broomfield)
 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
It’s an Easter Egg Hunt for dogs. Join us for the Easter bonnet parade and pictures with the Easter Bunny. All friendly dogs are welcome and MUST be on a leash for this event. Please pick up after your pet and bring a basket for the dog treats.

Sunday, April 12

Easter Egg Hunt at Hero’s Pizzeria & Tavern 
11:00 am – 1:00 pm
The 25th Annual Easter egg hunt will feature the Easter bunny, prizes, classic cars and motorcycles, train ride, bake sale and much more.

Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt at the Mansion at Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens 
1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Come to Denver’s favorite mansion for a gourmet brunch buffet, bar, and Easter Egg hunt. A delicious way to make memories awaits.
