Emma: How the world’s first digital mountain assistant is changing your ski experience

Emma: How the world’s first digital mountain assistant is changing your ski experience

Let’s face it: sometimes navigating a ski vacation can be overwhelming so we applaud Vail Resorts for introducing the world’s first digital mountain assistant to come to the rescue!

“Emma” helps us plan your ski vacation from arrival all the way through your departure by answering a wide range of guests’ questions in real-time about their vacation through SMS text.

Some things Emma can help you with:

  • Snow conditions
  • What runs are groomed?
  • Lift line wait times
  • Parking
  • How much did I ski today?
  • Ski school
  • Lift tickets
  • Equipment rental options
  • On- and off-mountain dining
  • Activities recommendations
  • Tell me a joke?

Plus, the more you ask her, the more she learns and the smarter she gets.

Guests will be able to access Emma from anywhere in the United States and Canada by texting 77477. Emma will provide information specifically for nine of Vail Resorts’ mountains – including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, and Keystone in Colorado. For more information, go to Emma is Epic
