Colorado Parks and Wildlife is pleased to partner again this year with Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) to offer free access to all 41 Colorado state parks on Fresh Air Friday. Throughout the year, CPW offers family-friendly activities, fun-filled adventures and opportunities to learn and try new things at all of our state parks.

Fresh Air Friday at Ridgway State Park

Two hikes will be offered to get outside for Fresh Air Friday at Ridgway State Park: Dallas Creek Nature Trail at 11 am- Meet at Confluence Parking Lot in Dallas Creek for a 1-mile hike in a great riparian ecosystem. Enchanted Mesa Hike at 1 pm- meet at Enchanted Mesa Trail Head in Pa Co Chu Puk. It will be a 2-mile hike, but you are free to go further on your own. There are great views in all directions from the top of Enchanted Mesa.
After Gobble Wobble on Fresh Air Friday at Chatfield State Park

Avoid the hazardous shopping centers after Thanksgiving and instead enjoy the fresh morning air at Chatfield State Park! Entrance into all Colorado State Parks is FREE on Fresh Air Friday! It’s time to walk off all that turkey you ate! Join a Ranger on a leisurely 2-mile walk through the Plum Creek Nature Area. Look for wildlife while breathing in the fresh, crisp morning air.
Fresh Air Friday Hike – Little Rainbow at AHRA State Park

Join us for Fresh Air Friday as we take a walk on the Little Rainbow Trail. Walk off that Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy a free day at State Parks!
Hike Outlook Ridge Loop at Mueller State Park

Want to avoid shopping centers today? Join us for Fresh Air Friday! Visit an overlook to view the valleys in the foreground and the Continental Divide in the distance, led by Naturalist Cindi. Loop back by Lost and Geer Ponds for a 3.5-mile moderate hike including a few steep hills. Dress in layers and bring lots of water.
