 Denver Arts Week 
Nov 1 – 9 
The 13th annual Denver Arts Week is an eight-day celebration of all things art in The Mile High City, running from November 1-9, 2019. The program, presented by VISIT DENVER, The Convention & Visitors Bureau, features more than 300 events at a wide variety of art galleries, museums, theaters and concert halls many of which are deeply discounted.Dis de los Muertos at Lakewood Arts at Lakewood Arts
Nov 1 – Nov 7 
Get in on the Día de los Muertos fun with Lakewood Arts, located in 40 West Arts District. Lakewood’s oldest continuously-operating arts organization is kicking things off on First Friday with tarot-card readings, a make-your-own mask station and face painting.

Art Scavenger Hunt at Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus 
Nov 3  – 9 
Head to Joy Park to begin an art exploration through the Museum grounds to learn about the various pieces on display.

Clay Adventures in Joy Park at Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus 
Nov 3, 1:30 pm – Nov 9, 2:45 pm
Get inspired by your surroundings on a Joy Park adventure, then use clay to mold creatures that incorporate materials we gathered on our journey like leaves, twigs and pebbles.

Night Lights Denver Launches at Daniels & Fisher Tower 
Nov 7  – 9 
The Denver Theatre District will launch Night Lights Denver on November 7 during Denver Arts Week. This ongoing, year-round projection mapping installation will be projected on the Arapahoe Street side of the Daniels & Fisher Tower every Thursday through Saturday evening. Night Lights Denver will include rotating content, designed by artists and the community, featuring a wide range of art. For the launch, between November 7 and November 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the installation will include works by Colorado-based artists Joel Swanson and Sofie Birkin with a special opening piece by Limelight Art.

Raising Kindness at Centennial Public Works Community Room 
Nov 8, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Raising Kindness is partnering with the Veterans Affairs Community Resource and Referral Center to support veterans in our community. Projects at this event will include assembling candy snack kits, food kits & dental hygiene kits, contributing to a mural that will be displayed at the center, writing thank you notes for veterans and creating comfort items. There will be a facilitated discussion about the Community Resource and Referral Center and the work they do with veterans in the community.

Free Day at Four Mile Historic Park 
Nov 8, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Discover this tranquil, 12-acre historic oasis and the site of Denver’s oldest house. Tour the museum, stroll the gardens and grounds, pan for “gold”, and visit our farm animals. Exhibits, demonstrations, and special programming compliment cultural and natural history to enrich your park experience.

First Bite: Boulder County Restaurant Week at Boulder County 
Nov 8  – 16 
Among a number of improvements this year, First Bite: Boulder County Restaurant Week (Nov. 8-16, 2019) has selected five area nonprofits and secured matches for its new partnership program, announced details for its Local Table Tours collaboration and released the names of the more than 40 participating restaurants that have already signed up.

Tiger Encounter at Denver Zoo 
Nov 8, 2:00 – 3:30 pm
Experience The EDGE through the eyes of a tiger! This tour will take you behind the scenes at The Edge, Denver Zoo’s Amur tiger exhibit. You will get an up-close view of a training session with one of The Edge’s resident tigers and learn from animal care experts about what they do every day to ensure that these cats receive the best care. You’ll be in awe of the amazing relationship animal care staff have with these 400-pound furry felines.

Free Day at Longmont Museum 
Nov 9, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
The Longmont Museum, housed in a distinctive contemporary building, features changing exhibits in history, art, and science, as well as the award-winning Front Range Rising, a long-term exhibit on the history and culture of this region. The Museum also features the 250-seat Stewart Auditorium and Cone-Shortall stage, the Swan Atrium, and the Kaiser Permanente Education Center. The Museum hosts hands-on education programs for all ages, indoor and outdoor concerts and performances, film series, lectures and historic tours, and a gift shop featuring local history books, souvenirs, and exhibit-related materials.

Kids ATV Park Ride at Confluence Park

Are your kids into riding? Join our event and have fun! Every young racer is welcome to take a park driving test on gas and electric ATVs. If it’s your first ride, don’t worry, our experts will teach your kids firs steps of hitting the trails.

Museum Takeover: Gamers Save the World at Fort Collins Museum of Discovery

The Mommy Mingle at Fort Collins Museum of Discovery

It can be tough to find mom friends! Between diaper changes, nap schedules, and lack of sleep, who has the time or energy to make meaningful adult connections?
If this is you, join us for our first-ever Mommy Mingle night! Grab your diaper bag, kiddos (ages 0-3 welcome), and pop on over to FCMoD for a night of conversation, sharing resources, and connecting. Not only will there be speed “dating”, we’ll have set conversation time around some of the most common parenting topics, and time to play with other parents and children. We’ll also be asking for your feedback to help shape the future of FCMoD tot programming – so bring your ideas to share!

Colorado Hal Run at Washington Park

Join the fun at the event formerly known as the Great Candy Run. HAL stands for Healthy Active Living and promotes having fun, staying positive, and never giving up! Featuring a certified 5K Run/Walk, free kids fun run, 1st mile team challenge, live music and Hal-fest Expo with trivia, face painting, bounce houses and more. Proceeds benefit the Fetal Health Foundation.

One of the foremost photographers to photograph the great American West, William Henry Jackson’s images had an immense influence on the public’s perception of the American West. A portion of those images were captured here in Colorado as Jackson traveled throughout the west by rail. This exhibit not only showcases the Museum’s collection of Jackson photographs but provides visitors with the opportunity to visit the rail car he traveled and lived in – the Denver & Rio Grande Western business car – the Rico.

Marine Biologist for a Day at the Downtown Aquarium

First Light Family Space at the Denver Art Museum
June 1-Dec. 31, 2019
Step into the shining world of the new First Light Family Space and try hands-on activities inspired by the exhibition, The Light Show. Trace a shadow, make a mirror, play with patterns and create a colorful city. The museum of free for kids under 18 for kids. Have fun learning about artwork with gallery games similar to I spy, bingo, and memory matching with Gallery Games.
