Jurassic Quest at Colorado Convention Center 
Sept 20 – 22 
Jurassic Quest is Americas Largest and most realistic Dinosaur Event. Our guests will walk through the Cretaceous period, the Jurassic Period and The Triassic period and experience for themselves what it was like to be among the living, breathing dinosaurs.

Handmade in Colorado Expo at Skyline Park 
Sept 20 – 22 
The Handmade in Colorado Expo is an annual showcase of some of Colorado’s Best Handmade Arts, Crafts, and Goods. All merchandise displayed at this juried show is handmade in Colorado and sold direct by the artist or crafter. A huge collection of exhibitors will represent a wide range of media. All work sold will be created from both emerging and experienced artisans from Colorado. This event is designed for Locavores as customers will only find Colorado made items. Free admission, Live music, and family fun.

Schatzi’s Oktoberfest at Bega Park
Sep 20 – 22 
Join us for this family friendly event featuring German music, German food and Dachsund races.

Corn Maze at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms 
Sept 20 – 22 
Wind your way through seven acres of corn. The maze can be viewed from two 15-foot tall illuminated bridges. Visitors under the age of 10 can explore the corn mini-maze. Get lost in our 7-acre Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms (there is no Corn Maze at York Street). Also enjoy our After Dark Corn Maze and Dead Zone Scream Park. Masks and costumes are not permitted on the premises.

Longmont Oktoberfest at Roosevelt Park 
Sept 20 – 21 
The festival will also feature 15+ local craft breweries, distilleries, and cideries as well as local food, and games for all ages. Ranked as a “Must Visit Oktoberfest” by DRAFT magazine, Longmont Oktoberfest celebrates the summer’s transition to fall at Roosevelt Park. In addition to music all weekend, the event will feature classic Oktoberfest activities including sack races (kids and adults), stein holding contests, a costume contest, bratwurst eating competition, and the tapping of the official Oktoberfest keg.

Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival at Union Avenue Historic District 
Sept 20 – 22 
In some places, the sight of falling leaves is synonymous with fall. In Pueblo, the savory aroma of roasting chilies signals summer’s end. The annual Chile & Frijoles Festival, held each year the third weekend after Labor Day, is Pueblo’s harvest celebration. The festival s hosted by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce.

One of the foremost photographers to photograph the great American West, William Henry Jackson’s images had an immense influence on the public’s perception of the American West. A portion of those images were captured here in Colorado as Jackson traveled throughout the west by rail. This exhibit not only showcases the Museum’s collection of Jackson photographs but provides visitors with the opportunity to visit the rail car he traveled and lived in – the Denver & Rio Grande Western business car – the Rico.

The museum of free for kids under 18 for kids. Have fun learning about artwork with gallery games similar to I spy, bingo, and memory matching with Gallery Games. Create Playdate’s artmaking with little ones is on the second Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
