Deals: Boulder Fall Festival, $10 Haircuts, Shopping Extravaganza & More

There always seems to be that one weekend where there are so many options of great fun things to do. I think that must be this weekend. There is a lot happening all around town. If you are sitting at home and thinking there is nothing to do…well that’s your fault!

Outlets at Castle Rock Shopping Extravaganza. September 14 is one of the best shopping days of the year at Outlets at Castle Rock. The 14th Annual Shopping Extravaganza is Colorado’s premier shop-for-a-cause event. $20 of each $30 ticket sold goes directly to your choice of participating charity. Each ticket includes access to all event activities along with one complimentary prize drawing ticket for the chance at over $75,000 in gift cards and prizes from Outlets at Castle Rock’s top brand-name stores. Tickets on sale now.

JC Penney $10 Kids Haircuts. Just one more weekend for the awesome JC Penny $10 students K-6th Grade haircut! The promotion runs through September 15 – but you’ll need an appointment and coupon. Make your appointment today!

Noodles No Kid Hungry. Through September 24, when you go to Noodles you can choose to add a $2 donation your order, enough to provide up to 20 meals for kids in need. As a “thank you” for sharing with a great organization, you will receive a free Shareable item to enjoy with family and friends on their next visit.
Summerset Festival. On Saturday, September 14 Clement Park in Littleton will host the 35th annual Summerset Festival. It will be full with live entertainment, a car show, kids activities, dog events, food vendors, craft brew tastings, and lots of local business booths. The event is FREE starts at 11 a.m. 

Boulder Fall Festival. This weekend, September 13-15 Boulder celebrates fall at the Fall Festival.  This 3-day autumn festival features live music, great food, microbrews, wine and margaritas, lots of fun kids activities and 100s of artisans presented by Firefly Handmade Markets.   

Tesoro Cultural Center Rendezvous. Tesoro’s 1840 Rendezvous & Spanish Colonial Art Market will be at the Fort (19192 Hwy 8 in Morrison) on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Experience authentic artists selling and demonstrating their traditional artworks while encampments provide you with a chance to step back in time to the 19th Century fur trade. Musical performances, story-telling, hands on activities, scavenger hunts, HawkQuest and more! $5 for adults. Kids 12 and under are free.

Consignment sales. Once again we have compiled some of the best consignment sales in town! Next week, enjoy Just Between Friends of Denver.

Ski Deals. Labor Day weekend also ushers in thoughts of the ski season. Now is the time to get your season passes! No matter where you choose to ski/snowboard.

§  Vail returns with Epic School Kids FREE pass for Kindergarten through 5th graders. It includes four days of skiing and riding at each: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Crested Butte and Keystone. Plus, if you go today or tomorrow you can score a coupon for $15 off the already totally affordable Junior Trade Program. (you have to go to an Epic Mountain Gear store to get the pass).

 §    5th and 6th Grade Passport. Colorado Ski Country (including most of the other Colorado Ski Areas – Arapahoe Basin, Copper, Cooper, Granby, Sunlight, Steamboat, Winter Park, Aspen, Snowmass, Monarch, Telluride, Eldora) is available for 5th graders who get three days of skiing at each of the resorts, free beginner lesson, and equipment on the day of that lesson for FREE. Sixth-Graders can take advantage of FOUR days at each of the resorts and lesson for just $110.
