The weather the early part of this week wouldn’t lend anyone to think that this coming weekend is the gateway to Summer. But alas, Memorial Day is it folks! Denver Day of Rock. The music scene in Denver is pretty awesome and this one-day music festival (benefitting Amp the Cause) features five stages of music along 16th Street on Saturday, May 25. The event is free.

Nerf Battle. On May 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Park in Littleton, join Battle Zone for Fortnite Theme games. Ages 5+ welcome. Admission is just $10 for unlimited play. Unlimited play includes safety equipment and unlimited darts.

Planet Fitness. Teens 15-18 years old can work out for free this summer at Planet Fitness, with the Teen Summer Challenge. A parent must go with the teen to sign up. But the teen summer membership is free.

Spring Fling Market. Denver Union Station welcomes spring to Denver with a special new Spring Fling Flower Market on Saturday, May 25th from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Denver Union Station Plaza. The event features Big Green – a national program that connects kids to real food through a network of Learning Gardens and food literacy programs – activities include springtime planting in demo beds and other fun learning activities.
