Deals: Denver Nuggets and Avalanche Family Nights, Stock Show & More
No matter if you like the outcome or not (or who’s getting to play) the Superbowl is coming on Sunday, February 3. There are some items that often go on sale this next week. If you didn’t get a new TV at Christmas now is the time to get them (several on sale at BestBuy, Target and Walmart), or score a deal on new furniture (Hello new Lazy Boy). You can also stock up on all the party treats – from chips & dips to sodas and beer.
 
National Western Stock Show. The annual cowboy, rancher and western lovin’ Colorado show is here only through this weekend. Tickets to events can be inexpensive for a full day of fun.
·         Groupon. Snag tickets to events like the rodeos for cheap ($12) plus, tickets include grounds admission.
·         Guest Appreciation Day. The last day of the show, January 27, ground admission tickets are $10 for adults – kids 3-11 are just $3 and kids 2 and under are free.
·         Colorado Lottery. Purchase $10 in Powerball or Lucky for Life and get a buy one get one free voucher to select events.
 
Denver Nuggets Family Night. Bring the whole family to a Nuggets game on Family Game Night on Saturday, Jan. 26 vs Phildelphia. Tickets are as low as $34 which includes a credit of $15 loaded to each ticket for food, drinks or souvenirs.
 
Avalanche Family Night. For just $140, your family of four can enjoy the Colorado Avalanche v the Vancouver Canucks, four Pepsi’s and four chicken tenders meals on February 2.  
 
Curtis Hotel and Wizard of Oz. Keystone Girls in STEM: Snow Science and Snow Safety. Keystone Science School’s next Girls in STEM program is focused on Snow Science and Snow Safety. Girls will learn about snow science and a wide variety of careers within snow safety and snow science. The program is February 8-10 and cost just $175 (including food, equipment, lodging and instruction). There are scholarships available.
