Black Friday’s Best Deals!
posted by: Gretchen
Black Friday is nearly one of my most favorite days of the year! I mean honestly, isn’t that what was meant by the Christmas song, “Most Wonderful Time of the Year?”
Just when I think I’m getting the hang of when things are happening – they switch it up. I can recall standing in line that looped all the way behind a Best Buy at 4 a.m. for a 5 a.m. opening time. Then someone told me I could buy an item the day or so before – and take the receipt back the day/time that the deal was happening and get a refund on the difference between what I had paid and the sale price (but it had to be within 48 hours or something like that). But now, stores open Thanksgiving day, or the morning of Thanksgiving, or they give deals online. And they also don’t put out the stuff that will be on sale the day before (so no more with going the day before!). Some stores just have better deals than others – or are well known for the crazy Friday deals. We have tried to compile all the details for you to plot your shopping extravaganza!
Outlets at Castle Rock. On Thanksgiving night, after the turkey and stuffing have been put away, the deals come out! With over 100 world-class brands together in one location – and deep discounts at each store ON TOP OF the center’s daily commitment to outlet prices – Outlets at Castle Rock’s Moonlight Madness sale promises a fun, all-night shopping experience for the whole family. Each year, stores open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving night and remain open until 9 p.m. on Friday the next night! Macy’s. Every year a piece of my Thanksgiving is spent with Macy’s – because they sponsor the parade (which I watch while pouring over the ads that I’ve already seen online – they somehow look different in print). Starting on Wednesday you can score deals online. In store you can get deals from 5 p.m. Thursday to 2 a.m. Friday. Then more deals Friday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Deals include small appliances for just $8; 70% off Martha Stewart Collection Enameled Cast Iron; and again great clothing deals. www.macys.com/Black_Friday
Amazon. Amazon Fire TV Cube will be only $60 (1/2 off); Amazon Fire HD 10 just $100; Amazon Echo Dot (3rd Gen) for $24;
What you see that lights you up or fills someone’s wish list may be different from what I noticed in these ads. The best to you on your best deals shopping day(s) – and to staying up when you start so early in the day… at least long enough to hide all those great deals somewhere they won’t find them for a whole month!
