I keep thinking it is almost Thanksgiving. We have a work celebration (potluck) on Thursday and my son is coming home from college this Friday. So, I am sort of ahead of myself by one week. Even some of the stores are ahead as well. Have you noticed, Santa has already arrived at several malls or will be arriving this weekend? Hallmark Channel has been showing Holiday movies for several weeks now….and more importantly, some stores have already posted their Black Friday sales!
Boulder Chamber Chorale and Pro Musica Colorado Christmas. Pro Musica Colorado is teaming up with the Boulder Chamber Chorale and four, local favorite soloists for Handel’s Messiah on Saturday, December 1 (7:30 pm) and Sunday, December 2 (3 pm), both performances at Mountain View United Methodist Church in Boulder. In addition to the fun, bring a non-perishable, packaged item for the food Drive. Adult tickets are $35 and student tickets are just $5. Mile High Mamas Readers get a 15% discount when they use promo code: MilHighMamas15.
Paw Patrol. Paw Patrol Live, “The Great Pirate Adventure” is coming to the Bellco Theater on December 28 and 29. The show based on the popular Nickelodeon series features great music and fun script – a great introduction to live theater for kids!
Ski and Snowbard Expo. Plan ahead for the Ski and Snowboard Expo, November 16-18 at the Colorado Convention Center. Grab great deals (up to 70% off) on gear, apparel and accessories. Also have fun with exciting demos, interactive games, activities, giveaways, resort/lift ticket deals, and lots of other family fun. Save $3 on admission when you purchase tickets online using promo code SNOCO. Plus, kids 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
Holiday Craft Shows and Markets. If you’re in the Boulder area, check-out Firefly Handmade Market in the Embassy Suites Hotel and Mollie McGee’s Holiday Market returns for a second show at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont. Christmas in Windsor will have more than 100 vendors and the Denver Botanic Gardens Winter Gift Market allows you to shop 50+ artisans but also wander the gardens at no charge. And Rue de Noel, A Paris Street Christmas Market, will fill the Douglas County Events Center in Castle Rock.
Yogurtland. Join Yogurtland on November 13 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. for $5 per cup on No Weigh Tuesday. You can fill your cup with as much yogurt and toppings as you want for one price. Try the new Butterfinger Frozen Custard and Butterfinger bites topping.
Pre-Paid Great Clips. Great Clips is once again offering their pre-paid hair cuts for just $10.99. Choose 1,2 or as many as you want ($10.99 each) to load to your card. The card never expires. Maybe if I had waited [to get my bangs trimmed], I wouldn’t look like a 2-year-old that just discovered scissors.
