Deals: Broncos deals, Denver Arts Week & more

posted by:

I am a Colorado Native and I’m used to Mother Nature’s inconsistent temperament when it comes to weather. But I have to honestly say, I love a week-long stretch where I want to stay cozy inside with a big pot of white chicken chili (as I did this last Sunday) as much as I love a warm fall day (which we’re expecting this next weekend). I don’t think I’m the only one – based on how bare the beans aisle was at my local Safeway this past Sunday. Do you have a special cold-weather recipe?

Denver Arts Week. Plan ahead for Denver Arts Week on November 2-10 (yep, we know that’s really more than a week). The nine-day event celebrates all things art with over 300 events at art galleries, museums, theaters, and concert halls. For more details on all the events visit

National Pasta Day. Marcella’s Ristorante, Pizzeria and Wine Bar is celebrating the National holiday on Wednesday, October 17 with a special price of just $10.17 on Penne alla Arrabbiata and Ceppelini al Pomodoro.

Sonic. I live in a weird neighborhood where there isn’t much in the way of fast food – but there is a SONIC! On Tuesdays, get a cheeseburger for half off after 5 p.m. or wait until after 8 p.m.  and get a shake for half off as well.

Dairy Queen. Download the new DQ App and register to get a FREE small BLIZZARD®Treat! Plus, get access to exclusive weekly deals, browse the menu, and find a location near you.

Pink Saves at Outlets at Castle Rock. Outlets at Castle Rock are really participating in the Susan G Komen events this year, through October 20 participate in the Banner of Bras – donate a used or new bra and receive 25% discount at Jockey.  Epic Mountain Gear Jr TradeEpic Mountain Gear has the awesome Jr. Trade program – where you buy used equipment for really cheap. It is yours to keep or trade back in at the end of the year. When you trade it in – your equipment costs less than two days of renting equipment would!
