There’s no better kick-off to summer than National Get Outdoors Day on Saturday, June 9.
Getting involved in Get Outdoors Day will mean you are part of a nationwide effort to reconnect American youth with outdoor activities and healthy lifestyles. One popular choice is celebrating Get Outdoors Day at Sloan’s Lake from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This fun, FREE, active day will have plenty of things for everyone to do! Visit their interactive event where you can fish, bike, jump, garden, climb, paint, build, paddle, learn, dance, jump, eat, explore, and play! Select adaptive recreation activities are available for people of all backgrounds and abilities. This event is accessible.
They will also host multiple stage activities and live music throughout the day.
