Cinco de Mayo. The Front Range is party central with festival and parades for Cinco de Mayo. Some fabulous events on Saturday, May 5 include Cinco de Mayo “Celebrate Culture” Festival at Denver’s Civic Center Park, Castle Rock Cinco de Mayo Street Party, Aurora Cinco de Mayo in Fletcher Park, Bar Taco’s Cinco de Mayo Salsa Party on Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Longmont Celebrates Cinco de Mayo in Roosevelt Park, and Outlets at Castle Rock’s festivities from noon-3 p.m. with food trucks, a roving mariachi band and more.
Civic Center Eats. Delicious food, fresh air, gorgeous views, live music and a great cause…Summer has [almost] officially arrived when the 13th annual Civic Center EATS takes place in Civic Center Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from May 1 through October 4, 2018 (excluding May 31; July 3 & 4; August 8, 29, & 30; September 4).
First Friday. Explore your creative side and stroll the streets of Olde Town Arvada on May 4th and visit the likes of Light Rail Gallery, Hunters Bay Coffee, Vouna, Gallery 1874, Grand Lake Tavern, Balefire Goods, and The Cereal Box for light refreshments and the chance to meet the artist or artists displaying their fascinating work at each location. First Fridays take place monthly!

Extra Innings? I love that the whole family can have a day of fun at the ball park when you go to a Rockies Game.
