Fun fact: The first film ever screened for the popular “Film on the Rocks” was Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather. In 2015, more than 57,000 people attended Film on the Rocks events and it remains one of Denver’s most popular summer bucket list items.

The screening series, which is programmed by the Denver Film Society each summer at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, hosts roughly two movies per month May 15-Aug. 13, with live music and comedy acts to be announced later.
