With Halloween almost upon us, there are plenty of fun events that include trunk-or-treats, Boo at the Zoo, The Nightmare Before Christmas and a family overnight at a museum. Cirque Italia at Southwest Plaza

The Learning Experience  “Neighborhood Trunk-or-Treat”

The Learning Experience®, one of the nation’s fastest-growing Academies of Early Education for children six weeks to six years old, in Aurora is hosting a safe Halloween-themed “Neighborhood Trunk-or-Treat” event on Friday, October 27, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 7326 South Gartrell Road in Aurora, CO.

Colorado Adventure Point- Family Friendly Halloween!

The weekend of Halloween, Colorado Adventure Point will be hosting a family fun event! Come join us for three nights of pumpkin carving, s’mores roasting, spooky science experiments, rock climbing, and a shooting gallery. Bring your costumes, there will be prizes for the best dressed! Admission and activities are free, with the option of some paid activities.

Family Overnight: Halloween at the Museum at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science 
Oct 27, 6:00 – 10:00 pm
It’s all treats during this night of ooey-gooey activities, spooky fun, and trick-or-treat trivia! Enjoy action-packed fun in the Museum as you and your family explore the temporary exhibition Ultimate Dinosaurs, see an IMAX film, and sleep in the diorama halls. This event is for families with K-8th grade children only.

DINOS! After Dark at the Denver Zoo

This version of DINOS! After Dark is fun for the entire family, every Friday and Saturday in October, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The event will have family-friendly entertainment, such as pumpkin carving demonstrations, a self-guided scavenger hunt, a live fire show and more

Piff the Magic Dragon, Comedy Works South

Inside the Orchestra’s Tiny Tots Performances at the Boulder Jewish Community Center

Tiny Tots gets children truly inside the orchestra by seating the audience on the floor and surrounding them with a 30+ piece orchestra. Designed for children six and under, this 45-minute program gives young ones the chance to interact with the conductor and the musicians and learn about the instruments in the process. 

Mila’s Miracle Benefit Concert @ Boulder Jewish Community Center

Join Jeff and Paige, Mysto the Magician, Face Painters, story time librarian Melanie, and more for this extra special fundraising event in honor of Mila. Boo At The Zoo at the Denver Zoo

The 33rd annual Boo At The Zoo event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on October 21-22 and 28-29. Over those two weekends before Halloween, young ghosts, goblins and princesses can enjoy trick-or-treat stations, creepy crawly animal demonstrations and exciting family-friendly entertainment under the canopy of the beautiful fall foliage of Denver Zoo.

Come to Little Nest for a Halloween party with activities, candy, and a quick PhotoPOP. Bring your kids in their costumes to enjoy a little craft, a few tricks and lots of treats.

Live Bats for all Ages at Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Oct 28, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Meet Rob Mies, a Museum favorite and director of the Organization for Bat Conservation, as you step into the mysterious world of bats and explore their lives, habitats, and nocturnal strategies. Encounter a big brown bat from North America and hear its high-pitched echolocation with a “bat detector,” meet fruit bats from Africa and Asia, and come face-to-face with the largest bat in the world.

BOO-tiful VISTA 5K Run/Walk and Trunk or Treat Event at the Rocky Mountain Deaf School

A unique school is not far from you and they need your help! Rocky Mountain Deaf School (RMDS) is hosting their 2nd Annual Vista 5K Run and Walk event on Sunday, October 29, 2017. The 5K Vista Run is beautiful trail run on and near the RMDS campus at the Fehringer Ranch Park. Wear your costumes for a chance to win a prize! Stay after the race for a free hearty meal and for the Trunk or Treat event. Decorate your trunk and see the smiles on the kids and/or bring your kids for a fun and safe trick or treating experience!

Vintage Halloween Family Fest at Ramada Plaza 
Oct 29, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Enjoy a day of old-fashioned, family-oriented Halloween fun and activities at the debut of the Vintage Halloween Family Fest! The event is indoors at the Ramada Plaza Denver North, I-25 at 120th, on Sunday, October 29. For just $5, the Vintage Halloween Family Fest offers pumpkin bowling, bounce houses, carnival games, costume contests, open mic ghost stories, apple bobbing, mask-making, face painting, caramel apple decorating, trick-or-treat scavenger hunt, tarot readers and more.

Harvest Festival & Trick or Treat Street

Please join us for our annual event on Main Street in Elizabeth! The local community gets together for a fun day of activities, checking out the Vendors, trick or treating all around town & more. The first 100 adult visitors to the Chamber Booth will receive a SWAG BAG. We are planning some fun activities for this year’s festival, we hope you’ll join us.

Trick-or-Treat on Mainstreet at Mainstreet Parker 
Oct 31 
Calling all ghosts and goblins! Are you looking for a safe space to satisfy your sweet tooth and show off your spooky costume this Halloween? Then head to the Town of Parker on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. where more than 20 local businesses will line Mainstreet to hand out both tricks and treats. Expect fun for all ages and a few spine-tingling surprises. 

Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms 
Sep 15 – Oct 29 
Wind your way through seven acres of corn. The maze can be viewed from two 15-foot tall illuminated bridges. Visitors under the age of 10 can explore the mini-maze. Tickets include one hayride, barrel train ride (for children 12 and under) and unlimited jumping on a giant pillow. Pony rides and hamster balls are available for an additional fee. An array of food vendors sell favorite fall foods such as funnel cakes, hotdogs, freshly squeezed lemonade and kettle corn.

Maize in the City
Sep 30 – Oct 31
Enjoy a convenient, simple and fun rural experience at Maize in the City with several fall attractions including free attractions for families to enjoy. Started in 2001, and located just 15 minutes from downtown Denver, Maize in the City offers hours of daytime activities to families and others seeking fall attractions including a 20-acre Crazed Corn Field Maze – voted best corn maze by Denver Westword – a mini maze, petting zoo, pony rides and more.
